  1. As the title states, i'm rolling back to Win10 because my laptop isn't running very well on 11. I can't use the restore option, i know how to do a clean install but i only have enough space on my USB drive to save my documents and photos. Is there a way to salvage all of my apps and their data without using OneDrive? i can't get back into the account i'm using for it so i can't use that. Any and all help appreciated.
  2. Default windows stuff. I should probably tee up on my protection huh. Never had a problem in my 6 years of having this PC. I installed HitmanPro like you suggested and it detected the malware and removed it. If it comes back i'll quarantine it. If that doesn't work, will just wipe everything no problem.

  4. Tried that, it came back after a few hours of idling. I have a malware scanner set up now though. So if it comes back again, i'll just slap it off again. If that doesn't stop it, i'll wipe everything.
  5. There are a few ways i could have gotten it, so it's definitely not out of nowhere. I just wanna get rid of it and start being more cautious lol
  6. No files in there. It's just an executable that eats up resources. I'm thinking it's a mining virus, idk.
  7. This thing pops up in my task manager and takes up a bunch of my computer's resources when it's idle. I've deleted it and recycled it, but it came back again. It's obviously a virus. The file's named "wtf" and the "company name" is "lol". Antivirus won't even pick it up. It's very annoying and i don't want to wipe my entire system. What can i do about this, forum? i appreciate any and all help. Thank you.
  8. It's happening across windows and games. My GPU no longer shows up in the display options like it did before. I only see it under my display adapters. But it's not actually being used.
  9. What's up forum, as the title states, my laptop is defaulting to using it's integrated graphics. It just started to do this out of nowhere after turning on my laptop. The GPU is being detected but not used. I tried alot of the stuff i already found on google to no avail. Reinstalling my NVIDIA drivers, disabling the integrated graphics (albeit only in the windows settings, not in my BIOS. too afraid to try that until i make sure it won't mess everything up and i don't trust youtube gurus to that extent.), you name it. Any and all help is appreciated.
  10. Yeah, i can wait. It'll make it more worth it. Thanks.
  11. Hey forum, i'm currently looking for a CPU to replace my i5 8400, as it seems to get pretty overworked while i'm playing games like Vermintide 2 and Watch dogs 2. I don't know what would be better, but i have heard alot about AMD Ryzen being better. What would you guys suggest? https://pcpartpicker.com/list/RXvNb8 This is my current build.
  12. now i feel greedy, thanks alot. And not much of a gamer? Unturned is the most hardcore thing i've ever played. Don't sell yourself short.
  13. My budget is somewhat unlimited. If i have to go overkill, i'm willing to do it.
