  1. Thanks for the quick answer. I can use the primary NVME for boot (256gb). So PCIE boot is not a concern. I will try the expansion card and see how it goes. Also, If I buy another NVME, lets say 1tb. will I be able to use that along with the current two ssds at x4 or x2 speed ?
  2. Hello Guys, I am running an Asus x470 F gaming motherboard with 2700x. I have a single Nvidia 2080 attached to my first PCIE slot. I also have a 256gb NVME SSD (960evo) and recently purchased a 970 evo plus 500gb. My first m2 slot near the CPU is using the 256gb drive so I used my second m2 slot for the 500gb version. But when testing, i got low speeds on the new one (below 2000mb). So i did some research and found out that specific m2 slot is PCIE 3 x 2 rather than 3 X 4. So my first question is, is there anyway I can run the second ssd on advertised speed along with the first one ? Iam new to this whole PCIE lane thing and I dont understand it much. If I purchase another NVME, will I also be able to use 3 drives at full X4 speed ? thanks a ton
  3. I never used an AMD before. Intel always, so a bit skeptical about it. Hope they fixed it..
  4. Thats a doable list. thank you the prices of CPU and Board will be probably lower in local stores. amazon is overpriced. I already have 24GB ram of 2400mhz. so just have to buy one stick.
  5. Thanks for the info mate. I also have a 6600K. its pretty slow for me . Are you facing any hiccups or timeline buffering in Premier or any similar softwares ?
  6. 8 X 3 . I can add one more stick and make it 32gb. if ram speed aint an issue.
  7. Hi Guys, need some helping minds. 1. Budget & Location Budget : 1800USD , Location : India. (duty inc) 2. Aim 3D Work, Photoshop, Illustrator, Multithreading, smoother timeline./ user interface., Better experience. 3. Monitors 1) PD3200U , 4K benq (main) 2) GW2760 , FHD, benq (bin) 4. Peripherals Looking for recommendation on CPU, GPU, Board ,PSU 5. Why are you upgrading? Looking for reo My current system lacks enough horsepower to meet the needs. It slows down my productivity. specs : 6600k, 25gb RAM and 2gb 960gtx gpu. I would like to keep the RAM if possible but I think If Iam going Ryzen , I might have to replace them. I would like to avoid such situation at best because there is no resale value for used RAm. and they are like 1yr + old. but if it can improve performance over a certain percentage, which can be noticable, I can replace them. but I need some suggestions.. I lack practical knowledge when it comes to high end pc specs. Any help is much apreciated.. Thanks guys
