  1. Yeah the headset comes with one in the box. Still the mic is recognized but not working
  2. The headset has 4 poles and the splitter splits to 2 poles each. 2 for the mic and 2 for the headset. I can also not get the mic to work properly. Should I get another splitter?
  3. My friend just bought a pair of G233 Prodigy's. When using the braided PC cable and the included splitter the microphone doesn't work. If they're connected directly in the motherboard, the computer recognizes the mic but you can't hear anything. If they're connected in the case's audio ports, the mic isn't even recognized by the PC. But if the microphone is connected directly to the motherboard (not even connected to the headset) , it works. I've done around an hour worth of troubleshooting and I still can't get the mic to work. The only thing that comes to mind is that the audio splitter might be defective, but the audio works fine. Any help would be really useful
  4. Hey did this ever get fixed? If yes, how? My friend's got the same issue
  5. Recently my old headset (Roccat Cross) broke and I am looking for another one which would also count as an upgrade. I'm thinking of getting the original Cloud since I can find it for under 60$ here and the Arctis 3. Is the Arctis better? It seems like the Cloud is better but I am not sure. Any suggestions?
  6. I messed up. I wanted to move my downloads folder from my ssd to my HDD but I ended up making the entire HDD the downloads folder. I know this has happened to others and I need someone to help me. I can't restore the file location and I am pretty much lost... I also can't change the folder from disk D: to a "Downloads" folder in the same disk, or the SSD... Can someone please help?
  7. Between these two, which one is a better all-round choice?
  8. I need help choosing between these two monitors... Dell SE2417HG (24",TN display, 2ms) Samsung LS24F352FHUXEN (23.5", PLS display, 4ms) I don't think the extra 2ms will have a difference, I am mainly asking about the panel. I've heard that PLS is tiring to the eye and TN is better for gaming.... I want a monitor for gaming, as well as some mild photoshop/premiere edits. Is the PLS panel much better?
  9. So I'm looking for a 24" monitor for my computer. It will be used for gaming but I don't really think 75Hz would be much better than 60. I am looking for a budget one and came across a nice sale for a Samsung "TV monitor". It is 1080p, 60Hz with 5ms response time. What's the main difference, except for the part that it can connect to cable TV etc. , between this and a similar spec monitor. Speciffically it's this one: Samsung T24E390EW Also it has a PLS panel. I was told it looks better than TN but a not as good as IPS. Is that true??? Thanks
  10. I want a CPU that will pair well with a GTX 1060 and is futureproof (I don't have to change it for at least 3-4 years). Should I go with the i5 8400 or Ryzen 5 1400? I like the fact that the i5 is 6-core but the R5 is cheaper (for around 15-20 euros in my country). It will be used primarily for gaming, also some rendering, exporting etc, but nothing extreme. As said I want it to last for a while, hence why I was going to go with the i5, because of the 6 cores... I am not THAT keen on overclocking but I might have to if I keep it for a while... If you have another CPU to recommend (for example the i3 8350k which I thought of getting) feel free to do so
  11. Sooooo, which one would you prefer using? Yes, I would prefer the PSU to be more quiet, but that in itself is not a selling point for me.
  12. I'm bored of writing too much. Long story short, I want a budget pc, and I need a PSU 400W-450W. Should I get the be quiet! System Power B9 450W or the Corsair CX Series CX450? Which one is better? (The be quiet one is cheaper)
  13. Nevermind guys, I just found out newegg has major custom problems here in the EU, you pay up to 80$ just for customs. As far as I can tell, newegg doesn't refund what you pay to customs.... pity....
  14. Has anyone used newegg.com for pc parts? If so, was it a good experience (customer support, product warranty, return policy, shipping etc) It seems to have pretty nice prices, and I am considering to use it to buy some budget pc parts. I have also seen some coupons, which include free shipping, is that worldwide or USA only? (living in Greece) Does anyone recommend the site over Amazon? Thanks
