  1. you need to change the boot device to the dvd drive or usb port for windows to install next time you boot. then it will hopefully start to install windows. it should show your ssd and hdd. when you install windows if you don't see your hdd then go to computer, in the start menu. click manage. then storage, then disk management. you should see your hdd and ssd there. create a simple volume by right clicking and following the instructions. hoped this helped
  2. 3770k is defiantly something for video editing, it helps for the extra threaded cores! Yes go for the ax series something around 700w not unless you will be going CrossfireX then 800+w. look around at some cases you like and you'll find one, maybe the 500r ? h100i or h110. Ram - 4x4GB for video rendering is a must! you will always have it in use. or get 2x8GB so you can later upgrade to 32GB if you like. hope this helped :D
  3. nice, but quite outdated CPU. You also didn't mention if it was for gaming or workstation due to the firepro card?
  4. probably we know that nvidia is a trustworthy company.
  5. well yes, unless i buy all new laser printers just to use it for windows 7 and win 7 doesn't have DOS!
  6. hi, i just built my new PC, PC Specs: Msi z77a-g43 mobo intel core i3 3225 samsung 840 pro 256 gb and 2x 1tb seagate barracuda installing windows XP so of course XP doesnt support ahci mode nativly so i need to install the driver on to a floppy and do it that way because im going to install windows to my ssd. every time i do that i get a blue screen with the error code 0x0000007B. also dont say "move to windows 7" because i need it for drivers and DOS programs.
  7. Is it really worth getting a nic and setup upto 10 gigabit network for like nas/home-server or for small business.
  8. hi, my dad is worried that if you have a raid card and a raid 6 config. that if thing goes to the worse and the motherboard dies then the data would be stagerred across 6 or so drives. and how would you re-setup that? this is all pre-plan so don't know if we're going to run home server or windows 7
  9. I own a retail shop with about 10 cameras and would like to use them. the computer and capture card at the moment isn't working and the PC is getting old so I was wondering what would be a good choice?
  10. hiya, thanks for the replies, I actually wents for the m90 becuase i dont like the sniping button on the m60 and 1) i never snipe and 2) i would always press it cuz i like to grip it firmly but thanks anyway :D
