I was using Cinebench and the intel stresser Oddly Rocket league makes me hit around 80. Pubg / Gta runs between 60-70. I was reading up on it and I kept seeing a reappearing comment that coffee lake runs hot. Thanks for the recommendation on the delid. I was looking into this, I was looking at purchasing the rocket ihs as the reviews seem pretty decent

Hello, I'm quite new to overclocking and have just acquired an 8700k. Currently I've Oc'd it to the current settings: Running at 5.1 Ghz AVX Offset : -2 Vcore : 1.335 LLC : Mode 2 Stock IHS with No Delid. Idle: 35-40 Gaming: Highest temp recorded was 80 I just wanted to get an insight in to whether this is a safe OC. Rest of my system: MSI M5 Z370 MSI GTX 1080 16GB DDR4 @ 3200 Mhz 500W Corsair PSU Thanks!
