Mr.Br1an.1204's Achievements

  1. never above 50, and even that's on the high side.
  2. its OC to 5 GHz and it seems to happen when I hold shift and type fast, also when opening new tabs, but the problem is, the CPU doesn't spike above 60%, it just stutters or at least task manager and CAM doesn't update fast enough to show it.
  3. So windows is stuttering and the CPU is constantly at above 60% with 2 tabs and Pro tools open in the background, it stutters and freezes (like a game would) the CPU jumps up to 100% just when typing quickly. specs: 15 8600k 1080 16gb of ram (3500) m.2 intel boot drive thanks!
  4. So... a lot of people might just rub this off, but this is a workstation I use in a home studio in front of clients. some people might just tell me to reinstall windows but avid pro tools is REALLY HARD to get settings back after a reinstall and I would like this fixed... the problem is windows startsup, freezes the fans spin up REALLY FAST and it stays like this for 2 min, the screens go black and then it goes back to normal. this is embarrassing in front of clients and any help would be appreciated. thanks!
  5. yes, I have a mouse, I just need something for scrubbing thru tracks.
  6. I don't think this is a trackpad and it needs to be a little bigger because it is for protools. looking at the picture it is just a cheap mouse.
  7. So long story short I need a trackpad for windows. looking for a good one for under $60
  8. can't decide between air compressor or ratcheting screwdriver...
  9. Sorry. that's just my personal experience.
  10. S340 all the way, while personally, don't have one a close friend has one and his temps are great with a tower cooler.
  11. when I first got the keyboard (for $5) half of the leds didn't work, I have an old blue led mouse (about 10+ years old) and it still works, so I don't know what kind they were using.
  12. I know, the backlight no longer works(maybe an RGB strip?) but the screen works fine and when I lightly tock the cable nada happens.
