  1. yeah, but then I'd rather put it in the top, and keep 3 fans in the front which is a highly valid option.... is the H150i really that bad compared to the other 2? what about putting the LL120s in front of it, and the 3 ML120s that come with it behind it as a push/pull config ? Also, another concern, is having a front mounted rad, wont that be pulling heat back into the case? or does that really make a difference (like with the gpu)?
  2. my dilemma with that and the h100i is I kind of want to replace them with the LL120s (or 140s in the case of the h115i) for more uniform looking fans (even though thermals will be worse) and then, with either the h100i or h115i I would also need to mount it on the top, which may make cable management harder, and everything would look more crammed.....
  3. Hey guys, Currently I'm running a pretty old setup. FX 8320 here lol.... I plan on upgrading to a 2700X, which also comes with upgrading the motherboard, and ram to ddr4. On top of that I want to replace my case and add AIO liquid cooling. Also, I want to show it all off in some nice RGB fashion Current PC: https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/VNmXpG I don't plan on replacing the PSU, GPU, drives, etc just yet... only the mobo, cpu, ram & case What I am looking at is the Corsair Obsidian 500D RGB SE and something along these lines: PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant Type Item Price CPU AMD - Ryzen 7 2700X 3.7 GHz 8-Core Processor $422.50 @ shopRBC CPU Cooler Corsair - H150i PRO 47.3 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler $184.99 @ Amazon Canada CPU Cooler Corsair - H100i RGB PLATINUM 75 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler $209.99 @ Amazon Canada CPU Cooler Corsair - H115i RGB PLATINUM 97 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler $219.99 @ Amazon Canada Motherboard Asus - ROG STRIX X470-F Gaming ATX AM4 Motherboard $247.95 @ Vuugo Memory Corsair - Vengeance RGB Pro 32 GB (4 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200 Memory $426.00 @ Amazon Canada Case Corsair - Obsidian 500D RGB SE ATX Mid Tower Case $279.99 @ Amazon Canada Case Fan Corsair - LL120RGB LED (Three Fans With Lighting Node PRO) 43.25 CFM 120mm Fans $99.99 @ Memory Express Prices include shipping, taxes, rebates, and discounts Total $2091.40 Generated by PCPartPicker 2018-11-30 14:10 EST-0500 I have 3 coolers listed because I'm really not sure which of these I want.... I'm leaning more towards the 150i mounted in the front and replacing the fans with the sexy LL120s so I have 6 total but I'm looking for some feedback.... Also, the case comes with the commander pro, so is the lighting node pro needed? Finally, the case comes with both a usb 3.1 type c and 2 usb 3.0 type a ports - will all this connect to everything I want to connect on the motherboard I chose? Thanks!
  4. Hey guys, I am looking for a decent tablet for under $200 CAD. Currently we have the nexus 7 2013 which my daughter uses regularly (best tablet investment ever IMO). Her grandmother now wants one for herself and also for my daughter to use on occasion. The problem is I'm picky and that's hard when you live in Canada... What I'm looking for is a tablet that's between 7-8 inches, it needs to be FHD (1080p or better) and around $200ish dollars. I've looked and looked and am not able to find anything decent enough... any suggestions?
  5. oh well went with a turtle beach PX4, we'll see. got it for $129.99CAD
  6. I'm surprised no one mentioned turtle beach?
  7. not even just the top? the part that connects to cap is busted.. cant I just remove the top of the switch? i know its absolutely possible on a lot of mechanical keyboards
  8. Anyone know if it's possible to replace cherry MX switches specifically on corsair quickfire series without soldering?
  9. apaprently not without a lot of modding that I'd rather not do...
  10. Hey so I'm looking for some suggestions/advice. I'm shopping around for a wireless headset for my girlfriend. She generally plays games online on her PS3 but also occasionally on the PC. I also have future plans to eventually get her a PS4 when it's worth it (more games, lower price, etc) so i need a headset that's compatible with all of the above. I actually never realized how rare headset compatibility is with both pc and consoles. For the ps3, she uses the basic playstation wireless bluetooth headset which works fine. However, our set-up currently for PC is that when we both play games together with friends while on skype with a webcam mic and speakers. It's getting pretty frustrating though that other people on skype have to hear themselves when they talk (or we have to yell sometimes) so that's why a headset is imperative. I'm looking for a headset for her though to replace both the PC experience and PS3 experience and just make it better. I don't have a headset either but plan on getting one for myself as well (PC only, im also torn between the wireless Corsair Gaming H2100 or the wired hyperX Cloud II). I'm not really looking for something real cheap, my budget for her is around $80 to $150 (I'm Canadian so maybe upwards of $200CAD). Please help!
