Hi, I want to change the name of the creator on all my files(word, excel, etc.) from Aaseem to something generic like 'user' or 'computer'. How can I do that? If it is not possible for existing files; can it be done for all future files that are created by me? Thanks

I have solved the problem. There was a SquirrelMachine folder in Appdata/Local that ran the Discord installer on startup. It would not get deleted with normal uninstall methods.

Hi, I want to remove Discord from my PC. I have used Discord uninstaller, CCleaner and even Revo Uninstaller but each time my PC restarts; Discord is back as if nothing happened. Please help. Thanks Aaseem

I tested it on my other PC and it worked without a hitch and I am currently using a new cable. I will use LiveCD next.

Hi, I have been facing this problem for a few days. I am connected via Ethernet cable, whenever I open a link or enter a web address my internet disconnects with a cross appearing very briefly on the Network icon and I get this Host could not be reached or there is no internet connection message in my web browser; right then my Internet connects and the website opens. This is not a problem when surfing the web but doing any work or opening any websites like bank etc. is impossible. Playing any online game results in long spells of "connecting to the server" messages while downloading files never has any problems. I have cleared my cache, deleted all the cookies, changed my Ethernet cable, ran tests for Malware on my PC and updated my Network drivers to no avail. I have another PC using the same Internet connection but it never has any of these problems. Please Help

Hi, I am currently using an i5 4570 with 8 GB RAM, 7200RPM HDDs and GTX 1070. This is primarily used as my workstation and 1080p gaming. Recently I have started working with high poly 3D models and I am experiencing considerable slowdowns when working on them. Hi, I had posted this very problem sometime back and after changing the cable, getting a higher wattage power supply for my GPU the problem had gone away for sometime. Not completely but it happened a lot less frequently. Recently for the past few days I get this "Signal Out of Range" message on my monitor with no display; turning the monitor off and on again corrects the problem. It seems to happen most often while playing games and watching videos in full screen. Please tell me what to do to completely get rid of this problem. P.S. my other PC had similar problems and it has not resurfaced since I changed from HDMI to VGA cable. Thanks Aaseem

I borrowed another usb cable and although the controller does not get recognized, my PC shuts down within a few seconds of connecting the controller.

Hi, I am trying to install my xbox one controller connected via a USB cable to my Windows 10 64 bit PC. My PC detected an unrecognized device and now it shuts down whenever I connect the controller to it. I looked at the Event Viewer and it is full of "0x80070057: Package family Microsoft.XboxGameOverlay_8wekyb3d8bbwe runtime information is corrupted but we cannot repair it at this time." I can use the PC without any problem otherwise, have been running stress test and even played LoL and Witcher without any problem. Please help me. Thanks

Is there anyway I can solve this problem without having to make any changes to the home wiring?

Both the PC and Monitor are connected to their own UPS through a multiplug connected to the wall socket.

Okay I will try that but why would it only happen when I am using my PC to study and occasional videos during the day and not at all when I am using it to render and compile. I have run various stress tests for many hours on my RAM, CPU, GPU and even the HDD and all of them turn out okay and I never face this problem when the temperature is lower and not everyone is running their AC.

It can happen any time, doesn't matter what application I am running.

I forgot to mention that, whenever both the PC are running, their screen goes black at the same time, same number of times.

Hello everyone, I am in need of help yet again. I have a fairly modest PC and I have had this problem since the temperature got above 40 °C. I live in India and at the peak of the day from 11 AM all the way down to 5 PM my monitor goes black time to time only to come back on immediately. There is a light audible tuck sound when this happens. I have tried changing the wiring, had my monitor checked, checked my PSU, ran my PC with and without the GPU but the problem persists. My area faces a lot of voltage fluctuations, although I have surge protector and a UPS, I am still not sure what is causing this problem. This problem occurs most often when everyone's Air Conditioners and both my PCs are running during afternoon. It usually happens like 10-12 every hour but sometimes it can happen 2-3 times within a minute. For now as a precaution I am not using my PC during the afternoon as I work during the night but it is cutting into my study time a lot and I would like to be able to work in the afternoon again. Please guide me to solve this problem. I do not want anything to happen to my PC or the Monitor. Thank you. PS. The game(LoL, HS, Dota2) runs fine at 60 fps without any drops... I have not tried anything else as I do not want to damage the card. I do have Witcher 3, Skyrim, Doom which were running at 60 fps with some light mods before this problem occurred.

I am using the stress tests from the geeks3d website. All of them run at around 65-90 fps(without AA) with gpu load at 96-100%.

Hi, I have a Sapphire 270X 2GB which has been giving me trouble lately. Whenever I am playing even the least demanding games like League of Legends, Hearthstone and Dota2 (all of which run fine on the iGPU of my i5) my GPU temperature skyrocket to 95 degrees and sometimes even 100 degree Celsius. I have run various stress tests and my temperatures never went above 72 degree Celsius. Please help. Thanks

460 is a 2GB card, do not fall in the trap of getting the 4GB version. The card is not capable of utilizing all 4GB while running a game. Although if your purpose is to use it for video editing or something else that requires a lot of VRAM, then it will work just fine.

Its a Corsair CX430. I will not be using it to play games, mostly for running simulations and machine learning.
