  1. Thanks for all the info and Advice. I think I will order a pair of DT770's for now and it will give me a few months to decide if I want to send them back for 6xx or keep them. Then at a later point I can check out 6xx.
  2. I was looking at the HD58x and from what I've seen the 6xx is a possible "upgrade" at least to most people so I would probably just get the 6xx if I go open back. Now I'm just choosing between open or closed (dt770 vs 6xx). I'm not yet sure which I'm going to choose and ill probably think it over for a couple days. I would like to use opens but between me not wanting others to be able to hear everything I can and the noise outside (having a loud fan that is already loud through my current closed backs) I feel that I should probably stick with closed but I'm not too sure.
  3. I'm now stuck between DT770 or Sen x Drop 6xx. Yes one is open one is closed. But Im not sure which I should go with. I was in the discord and people are pretty stuck on getting the K361/371 over the dt770 but I have excluded it for my own reasons. I plan on listening to music and playing games. So either pair should be good but is the $60 worth it for the 6xx or should I stick with the DT770 (at 80 ohms as people have said 250 has issues at the high end being too high and ear piercing)
  4. I would say get the 10850k > 5800x at the same price. But if you are going to pay more just go with the 10850k.
  5. There is also the option of upgrading when the new Zen chips come out and leave you with upgradability. They are projected some time early 2022. If not I would go for the 10850k for gaming as it has higher clocks and 2 extra cores + 4 extra threads. Jaslion has said that the 5800x is better for pure gaming but as far as I see it they are almost identical and seem to have the same sale price when i take a quick look at amazon. Also If you actually meant 5600x and not 5800x, then go with the 5600x unless you really need the extra cpu power.
  6. I am looking into buying a pair of DT770 Pro's. I had planned on just getting a pair at 32 Ohms but wanted the velour earcups. Which are only sold on the 80 and 250 Ohm headphones. I don't plan on buying an amp as I am currently saving money to buy a 3070 and the next gen ryzen cpu's (set for early 2022). I wanted to know if going with the 80 Ohm headphones would also require me to get an amp/ how much it would hurt audio quality etc. The only information I could find was that anything above 50 Ohms should be used on an amp. Currently using a MSI z390 Gaming Pro Carbon if that helps.
  7. So i am trying to get a good 144hz 27" monitor. Asus has them at $300 for the 27" and the 24" somewhere around $260-270. I am trying to get a dual monitor setup with the same sized monitors, is it worth getting 24" and saving like $100-200 and a different brand like acers $200 24" 144hz panel. Requirements: -144hz -Not an insane price -1ms response -1920x1080 -24-27"
  8. I was planing on Gaming with one monitor and using the other for multi tasking and more space. The 144hz would be on the right closest to my bed so that i could also watch video on it. I have a 24 in benq but not having the same size would make the setup look wierd that is why im asking if 2 144hz monitors or 1 and a 60hz
  9. So i made a post about my current build and what i was looking at/for, in that post i had the Asus vg278q. It costs $300 and is 27" 144hz. I was thinking of getting a second 27" monitor to go on my stand of the same size but not spend the same amount of money for 144hz. Would going with a 60hz or 75hz monitor like Asus VP278H-P: https://www.neweggbusiness.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9B-0AY-00PU-00012&nm_mc=KNC-GoogleBiz-PC&cm_mmc=KNC-GoogleBiz-PC-_-pla-_-Monitors+-+LCD+Flat+Panel-_-9B-0AY-00PU-00012&gclid=CjwKCAjw_47YBRBxEiwAYuKdw1VT7ez1F9Pn1ysF3qs_5kldWF3veye0PsXa0PQK4KoHftXEKLJIxxoCCmgQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds Or Asus Ve278H: https://www.officedepot.com/a/products/616079/Asus-VE278H-27-LED-LCD-Monitor/?cm_mmc=PLA-_-Google-_-Monitors-_-616079&gclid=CjwKCAjw_47YBRBxEiwAYuKdw9dlJD-ceWjUwK4oLlWz1BV_eF3aWE4m4r_-OkhcyU-Xkdyu50o0gxoCSgcQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds Would doing something like this be fine or would it be better to spend the extra money for a 27" 144hz
  10. I would go with the one plus 6. really good phone at an amazing price that came out like a week ago. It has high storage and a good amount of ram depending on model's. Prices range from 530-630. But that is what i would pick.
  11. Trade it for a 1080p 144hz, i would rather have the extra frames of 1080p then the quality and price of the picture. But that doesn't mean i want a 240p. If you are not a competative gamer and want the game to look fresh keep it. But if you want the higher fps for lower picture quality take it back. Those are my opinions on monitors vs fps. But i play Pubg, csgo, fortnite and other fps games.
  12. Thanks ill check out that PSU but im going to stick to intel as im not much of a fan for ryzen even though their budget cpus are great.
  13. So i have been making posts and searching for what seemed to be reasonably price for performance PC parts. This is the Build i have decided on so far, but i would like feedback and other options that would be cheaper for close to equal performance. I might get a 1060 until the new Nvidia GPU's are possibly being released in July. If they are not the 1060 would go to my father who would use it for work since his job is software. I picked the mount because it didn't use screws and didn't need to be attached to my desk and because i would like to watch TV and such in my bed that is Perpendicular to the desk. Any Feed back is helpful but i would like to stay under $1800 including mount and monitor. 14. I am loking for a 8700k and mobo combo if it is cheaper and even ram. I was wondering if a b250 was worth it complared to z370 B250-8-150 Z370- 100-200
  15. Welli looked on bld and a 1070ti build cost me 2000 so thats why i thought this was a ok build since it had a 1080ti. Also it had a worse cpu on top of that, all it had that would bump that price so high is the 3200mhz ram
