There's no need for me to get anything better than a 1060, I don't game above 1080p. The performance at 1080p with a GTX 1070 doesnt really justify the cost. If at whatever point in the future I get a 1440p monitor I will upgrade GPU, but I'd imagine I'll be waiting a couple of years for that. No rush. As for my old system I would be looking around £400-500. It will more than likely be passed down to a younger cousin or family friend at around £400, that way I know it goes to a good home

Yes, forgot to mention I'll be de-liding an OC-ing and undervolting. Gonna get my baby tuned up to perfection. My target is 5ghz all cores, after doing some research it seems like a reasonable target.

The time has finally come to replace my 4th gen daily use system. This build is planned to take around 3 months to complete as I will be buying parts in groups every month as I get paid monthly. I work as a network technician apprentice so I don't really earn much; so it could take longer depending on how much of my salary I spend on other things such as my car and general living. Just to let you all know these parts are final and I'm not intending on changing any of them whatsoever, so unless I have missed something that would be imperative for this build to function correctly, please do not recommend any alternative components. Try some basic hardware troubleshooting. Have you tried eliminating the fan hub from your config and just plugging in the fans directly to the mobo? If from there you are able to control the speeds of the fans it would point towards a problem with the hub. Also, have you tried removing the case's fan controller and trying the same thing? Best to find the route of the issue and repair / return. **this reply was sent before i noticed there was a second page. My bad.**

It's not a negative thing, its just that it never really seems to have any real impact on temps, so going out of your way to buy an extra fan to put at the top of your case is almost definitely a waste of money. But of course this depends on your config, in a traditional ATX setup the results are negligible.

Edit: I read the post wrong. I bought the 10 gram gelic cg extreme.. I've also used the one gram. It's my favoritest paste ever

Yeah 3x 120mm at the front as intake, and 1x 120mm exhaust at the back. Very rarely do you see any any significantly positive result from putting an extra exhaust at the top; not worth when there's room for it as intake at the front.

The only thing I can suggest is to find out why it's making the rattling noise when mounted in your default config. There has to be a margin for error in how close the fan is sitting flush with the heat-sink for it to be making a 'rattling' noise, try find some compatible anti-vibration mounts on ebay or maybe even some foam material lying around in your home that you could put between the fan and the heatsink to try and find the source of the noise. Personally I don't think its a cause for concern unless it gets louder and temps start to rise, but I can appreciate that this constant noise is super annoying. I would say if all else fails buy another fan but its clearly not the fan causing the issue if it doesn't make a noise when mounted alternatively.

What case do you have? If you're looking to replace all your case fans remember it is best to have more fans intaking and the front than fans exhausting out the back. To maintain positive airflow.

It is possible to apply liquid metal to the chips in this machine, however, if your temps aren't an issue there's no reason to bother. Keep an eye on them.

After doing a bit more research I think that the naturesupplies company is legit and they do sell their own goods fairly, but it appears someone has accessed their amazon seller account and put up electronics items such as monitors and cameras for ridiculously low prices. This is fake unfortunately.

It's extremely fake. The company nature supplies has a business address that is literally within 5 minutes from where I live. It's a house behind my local pub, no joke. What are the chances. I'm thinking of going to see him/her today to look at this little scam they have going.

It's easy to do with the right tools and execution, there's a lot of things you'll have to measure up and figure out but it most certainly can be done with nuts and washers, plastic or wood brackets. For the hassle and maybe even the cost it might make more sense just to buy an aftermarket GPU cooler like @WoodenMarker suggested. From experience I once tried to attach a CPU heatsink to a stock Nvidia 210 a fair few years ago when I was a kid. It didn't go well, but then again I was just a kid looking for an excuse to dissect a GPU. That's the only experience I have in this matter
