  1. yea i have 2 cables. hdmi and vga. but as i said, my monitor doesnt have hdmi port so i have the converter for that (hdmi female to dvi male plug to monitor). and for vga, the gpu doesnt have the vga port and i also have the converter for that (vga to hdmi plug to gpu). my monitor only have dvi-d and vga
  2. but also its not beeping everytime i boot. i've been doing it for 2 hours ish right now and its only beeping in one boot so far and other boot, theres no beep at all
  3. its short but noticable. thats where i got confuse. if it only 5 beeps which is cpu error, is it loop like that or only 5 beeps and then stop. maybe like 1-1-1-1-1--1-1-1-1-1

  6. i just tried it and it still doesnt work (no display) and no beeping whatsoever.
  7. my motherboard doesn't have the reset button on the IO so yeah. but it has jumper to clear cmos. and i also have tried the remove battery for relatively short time and it still doesnt work.
  8. my monitor works fine i have a laptop and i've been always using it as my primary laptop display.
  9. so i recently want to build new pc and all the parts arrives. everything is new except the hdd. i did assembly the part and walla the display says no display going to sleep. im pretty sure i did everything correct. when i boot the pc, it doesnt beep at all but sometimes, it beeps for 10 times, 5 beeps and then noticable break and then 5 more beeps. the motherboard manual says 5 beeps = cpu error, 10 beeps = cmos error. things that i've done so far : 1. reseating everything (cpu, gpu, ram) 2. rechecking all cables from power supply and and display cable. 3. clearing cmos by moving jumper to clear cmos with power plugged off and put it back to default. 4. power supply works perfectly 5. removing 1 ram module, swapping ram module. maybe this is matter, i got a pretty old monitor without hdmi port but i got the adapter. and question : if my ram doesn't listed on memory QVL on mobo website, does it matter? i still got DDR4 ram tho. question number 2 : my mobo has cmos jumper, it has 3 pins (1 2 3), in u close the 1 2, its default, if u close 2 3, its cmos clear. what happens if you didnt place the jumper at all? my spec : mobo : asrock a320m-hdv proc : ryzen 5 1600 ram : patriot viper elite 16gb (2x8) 2400mhz psu : gamemax 550w 80+ bronze gpu : galax gt 1030. thank you and im not a native english speaker so beg your pardon.
