I've been looking a lot into keyboards with @sowon lately, and decided to jump into the scene with a new keyboard... it doesn't have a name yet, still needs a keycap set as I'm currently just using my hyperx puddings
current plan is to pick up a GMK Dualshot, which starts with their groupbuy in December, but I'm still looking around for alternatives that i like, as i was originally going for a GMK Mizu.
with that my first setup is done, and I'll just be swapping around switches the coming days, to try what i like most and what I'll order in the end

Nice, but why so many different switch types?
-
-
All 3 what
Are these just leftover switches or did you buy all of them? I would get so triggered typing on a keyboard with different switches. But hey, I also like 90s shitboards, so don't listen to my opinion.
-
all 3 types: linear, tactile and clicky
except if you meant switch style of course, then all of them are MX style switches
i bought all of them, and honestly kinda like to try them all out, switch them around and see what works, and based off that buy my final set of switches
-
Is it a hotswap board?
-
it is
glorious gmmk fullsize
-
Also mmm Dualshot is a nice keycap set lol.
though i would rather have vintage cherry doubleshots -
i mean... in my defense it's at least something retro
-
Again, not a bad keycap set. I like it.
I just prefer old shit
-
everyone their... problems? or let's just keep it positive and call it preferences
even if my wallet won't be happy with a gmk kit
-
nice,
How did it take you to do this doe? -
sorry bro, huge typo, i meant to ask like "how long did it take you" to do all of this.
-
oh, makes sense now
because i disassembled it entirely and fucked up a couple stabs which was in the end not needed as my GMK stabs don't fit in it, around 5 hours
if i didn't do that... maybe a hour at best
-
wow, it took way longer than i expected. i assumed you had it all done under 1 hour or something.
