I'm at university and one of my classes is literally just doing the cisco learning academy introduction to networks. All we do is learn basics of networking and then how to use CISCO equipment. I feel like I'm being locked in to learning their bullshit ecosystem of products when I know there's so many other networking companies out there. Is it just me or does programming a switch/router in the console seem outdated as hell (I know it's like the best and most realiable way to do it but man a GUI would make it so so so much easier, like ubiquiti products). I am wrong? Thanks

Hello, I have been working at an internship in a manufacturing environment and I've been programming some allen bradley PLCs using ladderlogic and found it really intuitive and interesting. I want to do some stuff like this at home but obviously I can't use the allen bradley stuff since its like $20,000 lol. What are some recommendations for like $100-200 just to mess around with for fun? edit: im not an electrician so it cant be 240v

Hello, I have no idea how to use a mac so I'm asking here. My install time for macos monterey on an m1 macbook air is taking 3 hours and the time barely goes down. I have 100mbps internet so that isn't an issue. Any ideas on what to do or try?

stupid dogshit file explorer randomly started sorting my downloads folder as if it is for music and idk how to change it back to normal the options for sorting show up as instead of does anyone know how to fix this? thanks

Surely someone can explain how fb marketplace can have more scams than actual listings for iPhones on their app? I try my best to report as many of these as possible when I see them but it's always the same thing, "free airpods for first 5 purchases" or "free apple watch". It's easy to tell which ones are a scam because they usually have some copy and paste ass spec sheet and then "Price: $xxx" at the bottom. Not to mention the persons account will be like an African person whos facebook location is set to Angola or something yet they're selling the phone in Australia. In some of the listings you can even see where the instructions for posting the scams weren't removed Just a rant because you can't even buy used phones these days since everyone is trying to scam you and even the scammers don't want to get scammed like this guy. Since they're all so similar I'm assuming it's a group of people operating on my city specifically to scam or all the scammers are just copying each other with their techniques. in the slightest chance someone from ltt ever reads this it would be good to have a video about scams in general I guess and especially facebook marketplace being so shit at detecting and removing them.

Hello, I happened to obtain 2 sets of logitech z623's these and I was wondering if its possible with minimal effort to get these working in a surround 4.2 setup for a computer. My motherboard has like 5 audio jacks so im thinking it would be possible with software? Thanks.

I ran chkdsk and it says everything is fine. It's been failing to install only one particular update KB5012170, but some others seem to have installed fine.

Yeah that's what I've been seeing people say is that the system doesn't even boot but what about windows updates?

Hello, for some reason the system reserved partition in Windows has dissapeared and I don't know why. I discovered this by trying to do windows updates and it kept failing. I've tried various things on the internet with no luck, has anyone ever encountered this problem? If I can't fix it should I / do I need to reinstall windows? Thanks

Yes you would have to, unless you are using like a cpu that is superlow power but considering its a 2080 probably not. I got 550w on psu calc so you should prbably go for 650-750w

Me and my friend are having a fight over what dual channel and quad channel memory exactly means. He says that 1 kit of two sticks of ram is single channel (which it clearly isnt) and 2 kits of 2 sticks is dual channel. Can you please clarify the meaning so i can prove him wrong. Thanks!
