  1. Got a strange problem with my PC, it only happens after shutting down the computer and turning it back on soon after. The PC will not post (won't show anything on the screen, fans spinning at full speed) until the power cable is very quickly unplugged and plugged back in (so the power is lost for a split second). The PC will then boot up just fine. Wtf is going on here? Any ideas much appreciated! Tom
  2. Thanks I've just made myself a batch script which I've put on the desktop for easy access, not gonna bother scheduling for the moment. Another question: is there a way to make it check when the folder was last changed before copying it? Seems unnecessary to look through all the files inside if the folder modified date is the same as the backed up version (and it takes a while, I've got a fair amount of data that needs backing up).
  3. Fantastic, thanks I'm gonna have a go setting this up now
  4. And it never affects the files in the source directory?
  5. What switches etc do I need to add to make it not have to copy the entire contents of the files every time but only the changes? Is that possible?
  6. Yes please! Would like to know how you've got yours set up too
  7. Hi I've just bought an external hard drive and want to set up my laptop to backup files to it. Ideally what I want is for certain folders on my laptop to be automatically mirrored on the hard drive periodically (eg. once a day). Changes to the backup files (on the external drive) need not be mirrored on the laptop so it only needs to go one way. What's the best way to achieve this in Windows 8.1? Thanks, Tom
  8. Well I got no responses on the oneplus forum... Any ideas here?
  9. I'm using google play music to play music I have downloaded on my microSD card. On my last phone (Sony Xperia M) the gapless playback worked fine but on this phone there is a short pause/glitch between each track. This sucks major bollocks because I listen to a lot of continuous mixes and concept albums and the vibe gets completely ruined every time a song ends. What do?
  10. You think a curtain rail is going to project 2.2 meters from the wall?
  11. Hahahaha woops! Forgot about that important detail I've edited the post now
  12. Getting a Sony a5100 soon and I'm confused about all the different SD cards available. What will work with this camera? Thanks
