  1. I will, just didn't know if anyone else experienced this. I'm now thinking that it might be my wife's work computer but i'll have to check for sure Monday morning
  2. Hopefully this is the correct place for this. I have gigabit internet through Atlantic Boradband, they sent us the rental modem and it worked maybe 50% of the time out of the box. After 2 days I went and picked up a new SB8200 Sunday and everything worked great for a while. That Monday morning around 8 AM we lost internet, reset the modem and internet came right back and lasted until about 5 PM. Another reset and we were good to go again. Tuesday morning right around the same time internet dropped, reset, and fine until around 5. It's been doing this everyday since I got it and almost always around the same time. Whenever it happens all the lights on the front of the modem all show as if nothing is wrong. I've checked the logs and whatever is happening either isn't getting logged or they reset everything I reset the modem. I'm almost thinking its an issue with the coax or isp since the rental modem was doing something similar but wouldn't get internet back for hours after I reset it but my original modem (arris SBG6700) never had to be reset in the 4+ years I've had it.
  3. I ended up clearing up 10.4 gb between the appdata temp files, the windows temp files, the CBS files, and doing another disk clean up. Hopefully it stays freed up for good now.
  4. Thank you. They range in price, you can find them under $10,000 for one in decent condition and they go as high as $100,000 for a pristine 850CSI or Alpina
  5. It's not cheap but it's not terrible. Luckily nothing expensive has broke...yet lol
  6. Also the laptop is at my work so I won't have any specific information about it until tomorrow. 2015 Dell inspiron 14 3000 series Intel celeron N3050 8 gb of ram (came with 2 gb) Hynix HBG4e 32 gb SSD Windows 10 64 bit
  7. Good evening everyone, My boss decided to get a new laptop to replace the 10 year old one he uses now. He got a Dell inspiron 14 that has a 32 gb SSD. Between that and an external HDD I've been able to install all the program he needs with 2ish gb free on the SSD. About 5 to 10 minutes of sitting idle that 2 gb goes away and some of his necessary programs don't open or crash. What I can't figure out is what's eating that 2 gb with nothing but the core OS running. I also copied the SSD to a partition on the external HDD to try to boot from but I haven't gotten that to work properly yet. Any insight to what's eating that 2 gb would be greatly appreciated I forgot to mention I've cleaned out the temp files, compressed all the files on the SSD, removed every file and program not absolutely necessary to use the computer, and deleted all the windows update files since I'm never gonna clear up the 8 gb it requires.
