  1. Oh, painfully aware. I have some other regular SSDs lying around, but I doubt I will fit much in to the new case. Ill check the prices on the 3600 then! Thank you for the input Much appreciated!
  2. Gaming, some photo editing and 3d modeling. But mostly gaming. The SSD I allready have, parts like the gpu, ram, ssd and motherboard I have. When it comes to the prices, I live in Norway, so the prices are quite different (read more expensive). This is more for me to nail down the spesific parts for myself. Plouffe: Nice! Ill have a look at those, if I can get them from the store and whatnot Been looking at the corsaid drives as well, might change the M.2 I have for one of those! Like the added space.
  3. Hi, I am currently planning a new build for myself. Now going for a small formfactor case, and want the best setup with the least sound. Hope someone have some good tips for me when it comes to what changes I could do, or if this is a good enough setup. I currently have a Intel i7 7700k, but want something better (ofcourse). Never built with AMD before, so do anyone know how delidding / luiquid metal could work / help with the temp ? All tips and advices are taken with great pleasure!

    Newbie setup

Update time! I have finally gotten som changes done. I have changed the position of the 24pin cable, but are struggling with getting the correct bend on it, so some more wiggling is needed. The Samsung 970 M.2 SSD was installed as well, and boy o boy is it fast BUT the biggest change come with my new gpu, the wonderful Nvidia RTX 2080 FE. It makes my build feel a lot more complete. Only thing missing is getting the AIO rotated, I would have done it when I installed the gpu, but for some reason my cooling past was MIA after a LAN I was at, so a new one is ordered. The picture quality is horrible, but hopefully I will get some better taken with my camera. Next in the planning is a complete water cooling loop. I have started looking at parts, but need to order them in slow and steady. Will use EKWB for the whole loop.
  5. Now that's what I love about apple ^^, I followed the iFixit guide to this caddy, could be that it works better ? I was so sure I had this right https://www.ifixit.com/Store/Mac/OWC-Envoy-Pro-External-SSD-Enclosure-Mid-2012-and-Early-2013-Macs/IF107-149-1
  6. Hey hey, If it is the same drive as in this ifixit guide this is a m.2 drive. You could try this caddy then.
  7. It is amazing what a few neatly sleeved cables can do for a build and a nice shroud for your psu! I like it! Looks clean and neat. Only thing I would have done myself is to add cable combs, but might just be a personal preference In this picture I feel the blue is good but that might just be trickery from the camera side, but a neat black and white look would be nice as well.

This helps a lot! I will try and change things today, also got my new Samsung M.2 970 disk delivered. So that should be fun to install! I am a bit uncertain about the AIO rotation, but I will try and rotate it a bit around and see the different placements! Thank you! The GPU cables are only temporary, as I am waiting for the RTX 2080 FE to be sent to me, so hopefully it will be delivered as close to the 20th as possible Not so sure if I was a bit quick on the trigger, but anything is better than my 970! As I wrote to dgsddfgdfhgs I will try and change the cables a bit around and test the rotation of the AIO, so hopefully, I will have some updates soon

Heeeh, I liked the look better Felt like a shame to have so little of such a nicely crafted cable showing

Hello there, I have been lurking in the shadows for some time now and felt it was finally to show my w.i.p build and say hello the same time The plan for the future is to get some full water cooling added, but since I have to pay 25% tax on all merch sent to Norway I have to save up some extra $$$. The reason I don't have both GPU cables custom is that I bought an 8 + 6 pin set, and I am waiting for a new GPU that will match the build PERFECT! Parts: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/cNKFmq Any suggestions on how to make it better? I have been thinking about adding some black spraypainted acrylic for the back so I can hide some of the motherboard tray and holes to the backside of the case. But since I am the worst practically made guy, that needs some testing to pull trough Hope you like it because I love it
