  1. Thank you very much, would not have realised that I needed to create a boot drive to properly reinstall windows.
  2. I will try a wipe now but no, I don't have an external keyboard just the on screen keyboard that I operate with my mouse
  3. Hey all, I recently got a new laptop and have been using it for about a month. Yesterday after finishing a game I was playing my computer crashed. Thinking it was just an odd occurrence I just rebooted it and then continued to brows the web. After making a Youtube video full screen it crashed again. I checked for updates and I had one for windows 10 and a driver update for NVIDIA. I proceed with the updates and then restarted my computer. After it finisher restarting I went to long in and the keyboard stopped working. I am using a ASUS TUF Gaming FX705. I currently am using the on screen keyboard but I am not about to type an essay on it. I have spent the past day searching for a solution for this issue. Here is the list of things I have done. If you have anything that could help even in the slightest it would be greatly appreciated. Uninstalled the keyboard drivers Updated the keyboard drivers using the automatic updater (ASUS don't have a keyboard driver on their website from what I could see) Updated the following drivers from the MyASUS app VGA drivers BIOS Audio LAN Pointing Device Utilities Wireless Chipset Bluetooth I also installed the hotfix for the BIOS None of this worked so I rang ASUS and they said to try re-installing windows, so I did. It didn't work. I then did an update check and updated everything and rebooted then tried again. No luck. I tried uninstalling the drivers in safe mode and then reinstalling them but that also didn't work. Just to note. The keyboard still works in the BIOS but not within windows 10 its self. ASUS then said to send it in to be fixed, but the one service centre they have in New Zealand is not considered an essential service and so I cant get it fixed until at least the 22 of April. Once again any help is appreciated.
  4. At my school, xvpn is one of the best without data caps. Can take a little bit to connect just make sure you select the server closest to you. Here is a link to their website. xvpn.io
  5. Have you tried holding down option while clicking the green button, if you have and it didn't work then you can always use the space bar to quick look the PDF which opens it into a decent size window.
