Current Build Selection: https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/BsmhP3
Hello i am putting an entry level gaming pc together early next month and it will be my first time building a pc. i've learned a lot since i started thinking about this project and i notice on the motherboard that the wifi adapter slot is very close to the graphics card slot. i've heard of a few other people who have had this issue. apparently it's not always a big deal, but i'd rather avoid any possible issues since i simply can't afford to make any mistakes on this build because of the GPU, CPU, RAM, and OS prices.
Anyways, i first noticed this problem looking at the motherboard i currently chose for my build which is the ASRock - A320M-DGS Micro ATX AM4. the reason i became attached to the idea of buying this particular motherboard is because of the low price compared to the other motherboards that i could choose. however, the risk of the GPU being too close to the wifi adapter is too great and not worth the low price. i found two other motherboards that are a bit more expensive but one of these motherboards seems to have two GPU slots, and the other motherboard seems to have two wifi adapter slots. i was a bit confused about how this would work, so i saw necessity to get some advice.
1. What i am thinking now is that one of my choices is to buy the motherboard with two GPU slots. i can simply place the GPU i buy on the lower slot so that the wifi adapter would be much father away.
ASRock AB350M PRO4 MicroATX
2. The other choice would be to buy the motherboard with the two wifi adapter slots below the GPU slot and simply use one of those for the wifi adapter.
ASUS PRIME A320M-K
i wasn't too sure if these options were viable since i don't know. maybe it wouldn't work to have either two GPU or two wifi adapter slots and only be using one of them. would these methods actually work? if so, which option would be the best for me? i would be more inclined to buy the lower priced motherboard of these two options.
