  2. Thank you so much, An0maly and Motifator, for providing me your thoughts. I have tried the CMOS battery method, no luck; I am afraid the maybe the PSU or more parts are fried... Is there a way to identify which part is damaged?
  3. Hello fam, I recently experienced a power outage while my desktop was on, strangely, I can no longer boot up my desktop after the power is restored; when I press the power button, everything seems to turn on but it would boot up. What is the best way to diagnosis the system? Many Thanks, Millie
  4. Sorry for the confusion, with lightweight, I meant small form factor. I have an Alienware Aurora and that thing is not overly friendly to be relocated frequently. Would you think the Corsair One i160 be a better option if I want a small form factor gaming pc? Thanks!
  5. Understood! That makes total sense, thank you for the explanation! This case has "Direct Flow TM", so I thought it would have decent air flow. Would there be a small form factor case that you recommend? Many Thanks!
  6. Thank you so much for the comments and alternatives! I guess 5 years is sufficiently future-proof for me I will certainly lower the PSU specification Regarding the RAM, if the motherboard states that it runs DDR4-3200mhz, can we use 3600mhz? For the motherboard, is there a particular reason that you would suggest this Asus model? Many Thanks!
  7. Thank you so much for your suggestions, Uptivuptiz! I thought the graphic card itself needs 750W and the processor needs another 105W; that is why I thought the system would require 1000W to cover everything else. Do you think this system is worth the cost (CAD 5300)? Many Thanks

  9. Okay Cool!! Now I just need to find a GTX 1080...somewhere
  10. Thank you all for the reply!! I bought the rig a long time ago so I can't recall the spec of the PSU. And the spec is hidden, so I can't tell unless I take it apart. Regarding the PCIE 8 pin cables... Is this the one (see the picture attachment)? It's 6 + 2 pin... and there are 2 of them like this
  11. Hello Everyone! I am currently running a GTX 680 which has a minimum power supply requirement of 550W. If I upgrade to GTX 1080, I do NOT need to concern about the power supply since it's minimum requirement is 500W, am I correct? Many Thanks!
  12. Thank you all for the response! I will definitely have a closer look at all the suggestions! It's kinda sad... not to be able to upgrade the rig...
  13. Hello everyone, I am looking for this graphics card - GeForce GTX 1080 G1 GAMING 8GB PCI-E w/ DVI, HDMI, Triple DP. I tried to find it from different stores but they are all sold out. Anyone know where I can get my hands on this at a reasonable price? Much thanks!
