there's a clock chip on the board I'm guessing it's in there. That's what you mean by RTC isn't it? the RTC is here on the board.. -

got some more pics of the GA-586ATV Rev-4B and the Sound Blaster Pro 2. Both fully tested now and working (Motherboard needs the battery replacing). These will be going in my Classifieds thread shortly before going on eBay. All the caps look good on the motherboard can't see any bulging ones at least. Not sure where the battery sits on it as there is a space for a button cell holder but no holder And the soundcard is in equally good condition for it's age -

can intel i7 10700E be used on a regular motherboard
SimplyChunk replied to lexxke's topic in CPUs, Motherboards, and Memory
Sure it's not a 10700F? It'll work on all Z490/Z590 boards and most of the lesser B series boards from the same era just make sure the VRM is strong enough -

Could be error correcting. Just because your overclock is stable in game A, B and C doesn't mean it'll be stable in game D. I remember my old 1070. Had a overclock on the memory and the core. (can't remember the numbers) Ran beautifully in everything....until Red Dead 2 came out. I was nearly crying when I had to turn all my overclocks off I was so proud of them at the time

Dinky little test setup for Frog. Everything works so far. not got as far as installing soundcard drivers yet (i can't find my AWE32 driver disc at the mo) but the two CD drives work, the two floppies work and the compact flash to IDE 'thingy' works and boots. Had to fdisk /mbr to get it to boot from the CF card but it does work. Isn't dos driver installation fun I've pulled out the USB card for now just while I'm mucking around in dos 6. I'm still looking for a decent size CF card for a Windows 98 install -
If I remember correctly there's no RGB natively for the N64 not without some pretty destructive mods? So it may look better through RF? providing the analogue side of the TV is up to snuff. Rather than component anyways

I might have to pick up a Tualatin and a Coppermine PIII at some point just to try it then. I read that my revision of my board won't take them but perhaps they will after all. I've always stuck with what the manual says. I know it said later revisions of the board will take Coppermine. Not sure about Tualatin though . My CPU is a Katmai 450 -

Did you observe a coalition between boards that had onboard USB and boards that didn't? I'm wondering if that could be the culprit -

What's the old saying? Pics or it didn't happen? I bought my Z490i Unify for cheaper than that -
Not sure how well this site works globally but i can't find this song anywhere on youtube https://davidlowemusic.com/project/bbc-parliament/ The 'Full Mix' underneath the video has no business being this good for a news jingle there's just so much emotion in the woodwind at the start..

So I made the mistake shortly after the move to dig out my nephews old HBX 16889A-Pro from storage. I charged the batteries and have been ripping it about at a local pump track and have gotten a taste back for it so... I've gotten myself a couple of sticks of "rechargeable C4" from CNHL's new UK warehouse.. and a Surpass Hobby 150A ESC and 4068 2650Kv brushless motor combo from Ali Express.. I intend to put them in a buggy roller I got coming from Ali Express also. Rave reviews on Youtube and a 3rd of the price of a Arrma Typhon roller... Edit: There's nothing wrong with that XT90 on the ESC it just got squished a bit while i was putting it on there. the damned thing came with two XT60 plugs and I knew I wanted to run single packs

To be honest I assumed it was USB 1.1. I'll pull it out after a few tests. I did have a 2 port Hi Speed USB card in there before and it seemed fine. But i was also running from an old dying ATA HDD then too so may not have attributed any slowdown to the USB. But Quake ran superrr smooth on it with the card installed in software or hardware mode. On a side note though...reading the post you linked from vogons..my old super socket 7 failed misserably at Quake with a K6-2 so that might be why. I'll bear it in mind while i test
