  1. as someone who uses a asus card i would recommend the asus. the built quality of those cards are amazing
  2. I think Sony and Microsoft need to become competative with the PC market. If the next gen doesnt perform at 4K 60FPs at a minimum. Not only will that give PC devs a kick up the back side we may actually see some untapped innovations. I would argue we would need to see options for higher then 60 fps gameplay as well. I would love to see new consoles who may only briefly compete with high end machines. Sadly the cost of such a machine would only be passed down to us as the consumer
  3. Hello guys, I have ben scratching my head here. So recently when I stream from my PC any PC games the FPS counter drops to 3 and lower. This only happens when I flick to the game screen. Now I run a 7700k at 4.7GHZ and i have never had issues before. i have switched from x264 to the other option and back. lower bit rate. none helped Also i have a 350 download speed and 30 up
  4. The game itself is actually pretty decent Arguably the best looking title there is thus far of the franchise. I found the game needs some serious work in terms of optimisation. DX12 runs like rubbish on my GTX 1080 and found that DX11 ran better. I found tinkering with the settings a bit helped.
  5. AMD would give you better performance per buck IMO for that budget. a ryzen 5 cpu paired with rx570 should be a decent 1080p 60fps machine
  6. What temp does your card run. Those palit cards run hot from what i remember!
  7. Both are good in their own way... Pick which ever you can afford
  8. Hi Guys, I am not sure if this is allowed BUT I think i will chance my luck. Myself and a friend of mine are currently streaming Dark Souls Remastered and after some discussion we thought, hey lets see if we can pool some money for BreastCancer UK. Rules are as follows: each death will cost us £1 in donation out of our own pocket. The charity target is £50. Honestly this is just something i wanted to do out of the good of my heart. SO a little about me. Well im a 28 year old living in Edinburgh. A couple of years ago my mother sadly passed away from Breast Cancer and i havent really done much about it. SO i thought, hey, lets combine my passion for gaming with a little bit of charity. Every little helps and it would be a blast seeing some of you guys on the stream. Details: 8PM GMT time start TODAY! Location:<removed> Link to charity:<removed> IF this isnt allowed let me know. Thank you in advance for taking part
  9. Fair enough. I always think with upgradeablity in mind. Hence I advised on the PSU I am currently using. No need to capitalise NOT and 'AND'. Its rather obvious waht you are trying to say without sounding obnoxious.
  10. Would recommend the corsair RM650X 80plus gold rated. Modular as well so you dont have to deal wtih excess cables. runs super quite as well! https://www.amazon.com/Corsair-RM650x-Modular-Supply-Certified/dp/B015YEIBJ8
  11. Bought my 1080 Strix last christmas on sale for around just over £500. I would absolutely say it was worth it and its also a card I would highly recommend as its performance and cooling capabilites are just funtastic
  12. Hi, can you show pictures of how you wired them? I have 3 of them connected to the light node and a channel adaptor an they work great.
  13. Why would you want to? I mean, its hardly worth the effort unless you have a beast of a PC..thats providing it works
