  1. this was exactly the one i had scoped out for 4k for sure. now ill watch some reviews on it and see if any of the cons would apply to me. gotta make sure old school runescape will look good
  2. for the reason it wouldn't be a place for me to watch tv or anything since i have an OLED in my living room for that purpose. so i was getting other peoples opinions on things maybe they liked or disliked.
  3. yea i do have a 4090, so ill start looking at 27" 4k 144hz + monitiors, thanks for your insight. ( sarcasm since you clearly are of no help)
  4. since they only make ONE 24" 165hz 1440p monitor and is hard to get i've decided to go with 27" since there are more options what way would you guys go? option A: 27" 240hz 1440p option B: 27" 144hz 1440p option C: 27" 144hz 4k PC: i9-13900k / 4090 just looking for a little insight before this purchase.
  5. Would love to have a 24" instead of 27" .. if anyone has purchased one let me know your thoughts
  6. I have a golf simulator in my garage and my old pc will be out in the garage so im looking for a good case that will survive the elements. I live in nebraska so it can get as hot as 100 and as low as -30 in winter. garage pc specs cpu- i7--7820x gpu -2080ti mobo - x299 raider ram - 32gb psu - 1000w evga case - WILL BE REPLACING looking forward to any insight, thankyou
  7. all these different 4090's, is there a brand i should stay away from? they range from $1600 - $2000. I would figure any you go with would be a workhorse anyways. https://www.microcenter.com/search/search_results.aspx?N=4294822457+4294966998&Ntt=4090 anyone have any insight on this? Will be purchasing one next week either way price doesn't really matter too much ,but if i can save $100-$200 then why not?
  8. yea ill just have to learn to adapt to it lol. im sure ill find something good over the next few weeks.
  9. you can? , i looked 1440p benq 24" and they all say "60 hertz" in the info about the monitor
  10. Just built a new pc , i9-13900k with a 4090. so now im looking to upgrade my display. Budget: $800 or less would be ideal. Wants- i would love 24" 1440p 240hz, but i don't think it exists. so I guess i'll go for 27" 1440p 144hz - 240hz , not sure the features needed ? kinda seeing what is out there nowadays. current monitor - 24" benq 144hz 1080p
  11. Hey everyone, Just upgraded my computer to i9-13900k and 4090, i would like to play games at 1440p , not to interested in 4k as of now. I currently have a benq 144hz 1080p monitor, and I was wondering what was out there for 24" 1440p 144hz to 240hz. Thank you for any information you can provide.
  12. What if the hack was just to drive traffic to floatplane? (this is a discussion topic, please no hate)
  13. the runescape thing was a joke for the person asking what i could possibly be using that CPU for , i do appreciate your answer, i've head taichi now 4 times so i'm gonna look into that,. Thank you again.
  14. thank you for the insight, i'm probably gonna pick the brains of the microcenter guys as well they usually are pretty knowledgeable, as for thunderbolt, i can't realistically think of a reason i would need it but i'll definitely check out all the options.
  15. here's the thing, and i don't wanna come off as sounding pompous. I am in a very good financial area, i own my house my car is paid i have zero debt. I pay cash for everything I make a VERY good living in the nuclear world of IT. I haven't updated my PC in over 5 years and that PC will be going into my garage for my golf simulator i build last summer so i can have a dedicated system out there. So this new build i'm doing is going to be all out and will last me the next 5-7 years and i will probably do the same thing then.
