Apparently you cannot turn off fTPM on WIndows 11 so I'll exclude that one from the troubleshooting list.
-
Hey! To answer your questions: 1. I haven't paid attention to event viewer unless my pc crashes or an application crashes, which usually isn't the case for me. 2. I have not looked into fTPM but I will try turning it off in my BIOS to see if that fixes anything 3. I have tried Starfield on both an HDD and SSD 4. The Fortnite issue has been going on for about two years now, but the SIege / CS2 / Starfield is actually new.

Hey everyone! Throughout the past couple months my PC has been giving me some issues. My computer has a problem where it stutters in most games. For example: Starfield is currently unplayable. There will be times where I will watch my CPU and GPU usage drop simultaneously casuing immense stutter. Fortnite consistently stutters due to inconsistent GPU usage and CS 2/Rainbow Six Siege will also stutter in-game from time to time. I have tried uninstalling and re-installeing GPU drivers multiple times through DDU, and have tried uninstalling and re-installing WIndows 11 a few times on different SSD's on my PC. Everything on my PC is up to date as well. I have the newest Chipset drivers, BIOS software, and my AMD drivers are currently on 23.9.3. Any advice is greatly appreciated. My specs are: Cpu: Ryzen 9 3900X currently at 4 GHz GPU: XFX Speedster 6700XT RAM: 4x8 Corsair Vengeance LPX 3000 MHz Mobo: ASUS X570 TUF Gaming PSU: 750 watt Gold Storage: 1 TB WD Blue Hard drive 125 GB Samsung SSD, 500GB WD SN 750 SSD

I have had this issue that I have been attempting to fix for around 2 years where I have been trying to play Fortnite on my pc but I have unstable fps in the game due to my GPU usage going from 99% or 100% to 70-60% which causes a lot of frame drops. I have found that DirectX 12 is the only option that actually gets the GPU to 100% but the usage still fluctuates causing frame drops still. Fortnite is the only game this happens in. Any help is greatly appreciated. My specs are: Cpu: Ryzen 9 3900X GPU: Saphire 5600XT Mobo: ASUS X570 TUF Gaming PSU: Seasonic MKII 650 watt bronze Storage: 1 TB WD Blue Hard drive, 125 GB Samsung SSD, 500GB WD SN 750 SSD (Fortnite is on here)

Hey everyone, I recently just updated my 1060 3gb to a 5600 XT and every now and then, I get a but of stutter and frame loss in my games like Modern Warfare, I monitored the usage on everything and my Gpu is at %72 my Cpu is at %75 and my ram is at %90 Is my ram or any component being bottlenecked? Specs: - Ryzen 5 1500X 4 Core OC to 3.95 MHz - Radeon Rx 5600 XT OC - Asus ROG Strix B350-F Gaming Motherboard - Gloway DDR4 2400 MHz Ram OC 3000 MHz - 1 TB Wester Digital Blue HDD - 120 Gb Samsung SSD - 650 Watt PSU

I have monitored my thermals and they seem to be doing fine, is it possible to OC my ram from 2400 to 2666 or higher?

Hello, I recently just bought brand new Radeon RX 5600 XT, I have been playing around with it setting it to it’s e-sports settings and when I play COD Warzone or Fallout 76, my game stutters a little bit with occasional frame drops (More in Fallout). I just bought this new card and was really looking for some good performance for 1080p gaming but I have no idea what is going on. I just recently installed the new Bios for it as well. My Specs Are: - Ryzen 1500X 4 Core OC to 3.95Ghz - 8GB of Gloway 2400mhz Ram - Radeon rx 5600 xt - Asus Rog Strix B350-f Gaming Motherboard - Seasonic 650Watt PSU -1Tb Westen Digital Hard Drive -120Gb Samsung SSD

Hey @BlackManINC! I re-installed windows with everything else being up to date and I believe the problem has been fixed, thank you for your input.

Hello everyone! Recently I have ran into an issue where my computer randomly crashes after playing games such as COD MW, and I am not sure as to why. At first, I thought it was an overheating issue but my temps are fine. I checked my event log and it said critical Kernel Power, I am not entirely sure what this means, and I am kind of worried. I have attached an image of the event log. My Specs Are: - Ryzen 1500X 4 Core OC to 3.95Ghz - Gigabyte Gtx 1060 3gb - Asus Rog Strix B350-f Gaming Motherboard - Seasonic 650Watt PSU -1Tb Westen Digital Hard Drive -120Gb Samsung SSD

Thank you for the advice!

Yea, I'm overclocked to 3.8Ghz.

Lately playing modern day games, I have been dropping frames in games such as Sekiro. I'm thinking about upgrading my hardware but I don't know what to upgrade for that smooth 60 fps on max settings. Should I upgrade my GPU which is a 1060 3gb, or my CPU, which is a Ryzen 5 1500x Quad Core processor even though 3rd gen Ryzen is coming out soon?
-
I have 1, 8GB stick of Gloway 2500MHz Ram that I have not overclocked.
-
My GPU has been stuttering in games and I am oblivious as to why. I have a gtx 1060 3gb card with a Ryzen 5 1500X, 8GB of ram, a 650W power supply, and an Asus ROG Strix B350-f motherboard. I get stutters every now and then, but I recently bought Fallout 76 and I can't even play the game because of frame drops. I have monitored the settings and my Memory usage only goes up to 75% and my Cpu only goes up to 65% playing the game. But if I play Black Ops 4, I will get little stutters for the first 5 minutes, then it's fine. Playing BO4 takes more usage than Fallout 76, at 85% Cpu usage and 85% Memory usage. My disk usage is fine as well. I really am confused on this issue.

I just got a brand new case for my pc. I switched everything over from my old case to the new one, and now every time i boot it up, it just keeps putting me in the bios. I have my ssd set for start up and that is the only thing I have as an option to boot off of. I flashed the bios and but the most recent driver into it again, and that didn't work either, what I don't understand is my computer used to work fine in the old case but now it wont. My specs are a Ryzen 5 1600 4 a gigabyte 1060, 1tb western didgital Hdd, a sea sonic 650 watt power supply, and the new case is a bitfenix enso black, please help.
