  1. Thank you for helping with my stupid questions, it is much appreciated!! How is the motherboard worse? Because I am probably not going to get a cpu better than the 3600 for quite a while, and I would assume that when my CPU is starting to get outdated, the motherboard would be too? And in what way is the ASUS-cooling bad? Much noise, or bad thermal performance?
  2. Thank you for fast and competent answers!! These parts are likely better, but I am from Norway, meaning not all the part are available (without some of them having quite an extra expense). Therefore, I would greatly appriciate if the parts are available on the norwegian site komplett.no. Are there any good replacements there? (Norwegian kroners is about 1/10 of $USD, meaning $1=10kr Links: Motherboards Memory SSD GPU For the power supply: Did you change to 550 W just because I don't need 650 W?
  3. Hi! I am new to the PC-building game. I have already bought a 1080p 144hz monitor. I have a few questions: 1) PCPartPicker says there might be a compatibility-problem. Is this thread a problem, or will it likely be ok? 2) What do you guys think of the parts? 3) Something you would consider changing, or any general tips for a noob like me? Part list: PCPartPicker Part List: https://no.pcpartpicker.com/list/VkPyQq CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 3.6 GHz 6-Core Processor Motherboard: Asus ROG STRIX B450-F GAMING ATX AM4 Motherboard Memory: Kingston HyperX Fury 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200 Memory Storage: Crucial P1 1 TB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive Video Card: Asus Radeon RX 5700 8 GB DUAL EVO OC Video Card Case: Corsair SPEC-06 ATX Mid Tower Case Power Supply: Corsair TXM Gold 650 W 80+ Gold Certified Semi-modular ATX Power Supply
  4. Thank you, I will check it out Well, sometimes the solution can be that simple
  5. Hi! I am considering building a new gaming PC, and I am wondering how I can add bluetooth. I have seen bluetooth-dongles, but are there any more elegant solutions? All help appreciated:))
  6. Hi! I am wondering if the performance and sound differences are big between different models of the same card (i.e AMD RX 5700). Or are the differences mostly visual?
  7. Thanks for the fast response! The "ASUS Radeon RX 5700 DUAL EVO OC" and "Sapphire Radeon RX 5700" are quite a bit cheaper. Do both have ok cooling, and are they both somewhat quiet? Because I saw someone complaining that other asus-models were noisy and got warm And if I think they look about the same level of epicness: Which of the two would you have gone for?
  8. Hi! I am thinking of building a computer for 1080p 144hz and I am looking at the RX 5700. I will likely be buying from this Norwegian link. I have found some recommendations, but they are not for Norway. Out of these cards: What would you choose for my purpose, or would you maybe even go with another card? (The prices are in Norwegian kroners, with an exchange rate of about 1/10, meaning 6000kr≈$600. Answers will be much appreciated:))
  9. Do anyone know how the Macbook Pros 13" (late 2013) compares to the newly released Macbook Pro 13" and 15"?
  10. The hotel looks amazing! But do anyone know what the space pods at 8:54 (video) are? And if so: Are they common and is it possible to buy them in the western market (and at what price)
  11. Thanks for the answers! How is the price rumored for the gtx1180/2080 compared to the 1080ti?
  12. I have been waiting for the new gtx-11 series since around christmas. It was originally rumored to be launched in July, but was than delayed to August, as far as I can see. But yesterday, I think, it might have been delayed even more. My question is: When will it most likely be launched, and how will it compare to the GTX1080 ti (price-wise and performance)?
  13. Setup is going to be used for: Games: Like PUGB, Fortnite, Overwatch and Doom Productivity: programming, watching videos, email, web-browsing and other non-intensive tasks Link to PcPartPicker
  14. So if I understand correctly: Water cooling will make my system run quieter be better for the pc (components will not break so fast, unless the water cooling starts leaking) give better performance
  15. Only once a year is totally ok! I thought like maybe multiple times a month
