  1. Hey All Seems like this maybe the final update after a 1 hour stability test - i'll do a long one shortly. I managed to get 4GHz (100*40) at 1.384v with my RAM at 2400 with its XMP profile. Temps are around 41c idle and 55c under 100% load. I guess, my final question is, as this is SO close to the 1.4v max for 24/7, would you be happy running it at the 1.384v for 24/7 use? Thanks James
  2. Awesome... I'll double check the temps. Aida64 is giving me a consistent 54c but I've heard different apps give different reads. Thanks for your help!
  3. Thanks... :-) Have been backwards and forwards in the Bios tweaking the settings. I've got it to 4GHz (100x40) at 1.375v. So far on the stress test after 20 mins its at 54 degrees C - I invested in a AIO knowing I wanted to do some OCing. Im assuming that voltage is alright? It's just under the 1.4 recommended limited.... James
  4. Thanks, i had to bring it down to 4GHz (100x40)... It didn't quite pass a stability test every time... Seems to be doing good now!
  5. Thanks All! I've managed to get it to 4.025GHz at 1.3375v (100x40.25) and seems stable so far when stress testing. I've been reading around that the 4GHz is the sweet spot for these processors - i cant see many people managing to get to 4.1 or higher. Is that right? James
  6. I did think it was too much.... Yeah i did the big red "5 Way Optimization" button.... *Swifty runs to the burning computer and switches off the overclock*
  7. Hey All I've just started to delve into the world of overclocking. My set up is: Asus Strix X370-F AMD Ryzen 1600X G.SKILL F4-2400C15D-16GTZR Trident Z RGB Series 16 GB (8 GB x 2) DDR4 2400 MHz PC4-19200 CL15 Dual Channel Memory Kit (Sorry i dont know the exact model number, so just copied it from my order) Samsung 960 EVO nVme 256Gb Asus Strix 1060 6Gb OC Edition I've started by using the Asus 5 way opimization which has boosted my AMD Ryzen 1600X to 4075mhz. My temps seem fine, hoovering around 55 degrees C when under full load.. But my voltage seems a bit high, peaking at 1.533V. Is this safe? Any help woul be really appreciated! Thanks James
