it would be tight but i think cooler height includes motherboard height.

this should all fit like those other builds did with just 1 mm clearance.
that thermal backplate is actually not what the motherboard mounts to the case with. it still mounts to the PCB. so the thermal backplate won;t effectively add any more thickness to the board as it will be mounted in between the standoffs of your case.
