  1. i have an old pc with a hd5770 in it and it also has weird artifacts was used for over 7 years before any problems started
  2. theres a 1080ti for 1400$ on newegg.... you could easily get a titan xp from nvidia for 200$ less and its the same exact thing pretty much thats how bad the market is currently, and its not going to change for atleast 5 months probably a year, maybe not even then, another crypto coin hits and its even higher prices
  3. are you planing on cooking steak? because the gtx 480 is an excellent choice, be sure to use a frying pan
  4. i went 1060 over 580 when i built my new pc in august, really good for 1080p, nvidia is just better IMHO, even tho i have a ryzen cpu i love the 1060 for what im using it for, its very nice, ps got mine for 230$... the use of freesync//gsync is subjectible, many pros dont care about it, i personally never notice screen tearing if its even happening
  5. ok so do i have to change cas timings in the bios? or manually change the speed to set it ?
  6. so i build a new rig last august, and i really need help with this guys, long story short i died of an pneumonia(i passed out and stopped breathing) last february and spent 30 days in a coma and another month in Rehab *learn to walk again form muscle atrophy) but i suffered a serious brain injury and its very difficult for me to search things and retain information ( i dont have a second monitor) so i enabled XMP i didnt change any numbers just turned XMP on from disabled on my bios the other night but windows task manager shows its always 2133mhz.... but i just jumped into my bios and it was changing from 2133 to 2900+ just looking at the clock speeds in bios but Task Manger memory monitor, no matter what game i have running when i alt tab it never changes from 2133 **ram speeds drastically effect Ryzen CPU performance as ive been told** ***MY QUESTION*** what software can i download to see real time memory speeds while in game/in desktop like a stress test to see if its actually boosting it? i use evga precision X but i cant get the Damn Overload to show up in games! ive also used msi afterburner with riva tuner but that also did not always show up when turning games on, is Specs, note i only game @ 1080p @ 60hz refresh rate (soon to be1440p and 120hz possible 144hz when i upgrade to a 1070ti/1080 and a better monitor next month Motherboard Gigabyte K3 X370 Ryzen 5 1500x 4c 8t CPU @ 3.5>3.8 with turbo (always at 3.7/8Ghz in game using the stock cpu cooler 16GB Hyper X Fury 2133mhz ram (OC's to 2900mz acording to my bios...
