  1. Hello there LinusTechTip forum users, I've come here to re-post my previous posting but in more detail. I've got an issue within my 5v,3.3v,12v rail. My 3.3volts keeps on spiking up beyond it's 5-10% tolerance and I've still been unable to see why it sits at around 3.632volts to 3.760volts. So what happens is that if I have my surge protection on set in the BIOS, it ends up restarting my computer. My PC currently is operating fine if surge protection is OFF but I get constant warnings at the bottom right corner of my computer screen. I'd appreciate any potential solutions or answers! System Specs: Motherboard: Asus VI Hero Motherboard CPU: Intel core i5 4670K overclocked to 4.2GHz CPU Cooler: Corsair H100i RAM: G.Skill Ripjaw Series 1600MHz 8GB DDR3 PSU: Seasonic SS-750KM3 750W GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 760 Storage: WDC Green 1TB/Samsung SSD 840EVO 120GB I do not have another power supply nor a DMM but I again thank you if anyone can provide an answer to this issue.
  2. Alright so! I've got a SeaSonic SS-750KM3 750KM3 PSU and Z87 Asus VI mobo I've disabled the surge protection and I don't have a spare power supply. After disabling the surge protection, it didn't restart anymore and activate the surge but the voltage is still up around approximately 3.70volts
  3. k so now it's starting to kick back below the sensor which is 3.584 volts, however the only change I made was the input voltage of my RAM. I'm uncertain if it has anything to do it with though.
  4. Hey guys, I've had this PC for about a month or so but up till today and the past few days, antisurge protection keeps on kicking in and one of my 3.3volt limits is exceeded up to 3.648volts and even sometimes 3.760volts. The 5v and 12v are both fine and approximately around their tolerances. But what could be the issue with my 3.3volts? I can't find any other solutions other than seeing people say to that some users that have contacted ASUS to disable antisurge protector. Thank you Linustechtip forum users!
  5. Oh ok thanks for the fast response, and no it's not some crazy idea.
  6. I have another question that I'd like to add on about this dual monitor setup. So, will this dual monitor setup deteriorate the GPU?
  7. Asus VG248QE I own one myself and am loving it at the moment even without the DIY kit.
  8. Maybe Noctua fans if you're into air cooling and it has good aesthetics and great cooling! http://www.noctua.at/main.php?show=produkte&lng=en
  9. It's definitely worth the check! and that sounds horrible about the arc spark!
  10. Just a possibility, how about try checking for the connectors to your monitor? Scratch that ^
  11. Into MMO gaming~ This name seemed like it would fit for me.
