Well , it shut down , kept shutting down last night , so today I decided to plug the power cord real good into my psu , I turned off xmp , and switched my power plan to high performance instead of ultimate , and now my pc is working flawlessly, it’s just weird to me and idk if I should still continue to search for the problem that happened last night or if I fixed it ? But idk if it was me turning off xmp or switching power plan , or heck even plug-in the power cord real good not loose ..? My system spec is i7 13700k , z790 ASUS mobo , 32gb g skill ddr5 6400 ram , rtx 4090 , 1000w msi pcie 5.0 psu .. thank you for your reply

But my gpu is using way less ? It’s also getting real hot with a 360 aio cooler , this was only in the menu not even in game ?

It says it’s at 5.0 in bios though but not on cpu z?

But still showing 3500mhz? Shouldn’t it be at 5000? I did set the ratio to 50 in bios ?

Really high frames cause the stutters ? and no MSI never have used it , but now that you mention it if I download it it won’t harm my games right ? Like it won’t cause them to stutter or stuff like that ? yes , I have them separate !

So , I bought another kit of the same ram 2x8 gb sticks to add to my other 8gb sticks to make it 32gb , my question is since I’m a noob , do I just put the other ones in the open slots and it’ll just work ? Or do I have to do some configuration or something? Thanks for helping a pc noob

Yes , even installed windows again, I’m getting really bad stutters in gta v , I don’t have it capped so I’m not sure if that’s a problem

3080??? I am having issues with my brand new asus tuf card , it’s stuttering in games like gta v and it didn’t use to on my 2080 ti ? Can my 850w psu be the culprit ?
