    God, I am dumb! So, does the Corsair CX450M support optical drives? Also, my mobo can also support an A8 3870K, so that’s good. The GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 1050 OC Low Profile 2GB Video Card also uses PCI Express 3.0 x16. I’m not sure if it’ll need a PCIe Power Adapter, though.

    The A8 3850 is the fastest supported by my mobo, and I'm not sure if the 1050 ti will do well with it, so I'm going to stick with the GTX 1050. In this image, you can see that the PSU cords are connected directly to the PSU, so I'm not sure if I can upgrade it.

    I was looking to upgrade my PC that is pretty old (located here). My Mobo is pretty restrictive, along with my PSU, so I was thinking that I should buy an A8 3850 and a GTX 1050 or a GT 1030. If I decide to buy this, will it bottleneck? And how much. This'll be a huge upgrade for me, so I won't mind a small bottleneck or completely 1080p60fps gameplay.

    My budget is $900, but I can go up to $1000 if necessary. This PC will be mainly gaming exclusive, 1080p 60hz, and I want it to last for about 4-5 years before buying new parts.Here is my rough draft build, and I intend to buy the parts a few weeks after the holidays. I would also prefer RGB, but I can live without it.
