  2. Hi Ya'll Finally got done with my first hard-line build! It was much harder than I though to get all the bends perfect and to even conceptualize what a bend should look like. I will come back in a few weeks i think and add a flow meter. Idk if I'm a fan of the green was just trying it out. Please go easy on her lol!   3. Hi all, Changing over from soft tubing to some 16mmOD PETG in my build. What do you think of the run in blue going above the ram to the backport? Also - suggestions on the run from the front port to the top left port on the side rad (circled in red)?
  4. Thanks for the reply. At the moment i run my pump at %40 and all my fans at 700 RPM. My water temp is roughly 5c above ambient. My idel at this fan speed is around 22c and at load around 55c on cpu and 38c on gpu.I think those are good numbers and im at the point now where i can just run lower fan speeds with my 920MM rad space
  5. Hello all, I got bored several days ago and decided to add a third radiator to my loop for some fun. I know there is a point in diminishing results, waste of money, overkill, etc, etc, i just did this for fun and as I enjoy the hobby. My current set up is: Case - Lian Li o11 Dynamic i9-9900ks - OC'd to 5.1 at 1.35 VCore RTX 2080ti - OC'd Water cooling setup: EK Velocity CPU Block EK GPU Block Corsair Hydro X Series XD5 Pump/res combo EK Coolstream XE 240 double - top as exhaust EK Coolstream SE 360 - side intake Corsair Hydro X Series XR7 360mm - bottom as intake All rads have corsair mag lev pro fans on them. Should i bother playing around with the intake or exhaust setup? Should I try all rads as exhaust or all as intake? Reason I ask is after adding the new rad my temps stayed the same with no change in room ambient temp - which could be a result of diminishing results in the loop. I know loop order has not real effect but the one rad at the top is the first ran in the loop order following the gpu and cpu block so its getting all of the heat. pump/res > rad > gpu > cpu > rad > rad. Anyone here ever mess with all rads set to exhaust/intake with 3 rads?
  6. I'm running an Aorus Master with my i9-9900k and love it. Was easily able to overclock it to 5.1 at 1.305 VCore. Gamers Nexus did a nice video on the board and they commented that it had some of if not the best VRMs in that price range of board.   8. Hi All, I'm building a budget system for my buddy's sons birthday; around $550 budget. I have a lot of experience building high-end windows gaming machines but not AMD. What are your opinions on the below system? He will mainly use it for fortnite, twitch, youtube videos, Borderlands, etc. I went with AMD due to the onboard GPU and the included cooler.   11. Afternoon All, There's not a lot of information out there about the ever elusive $1099 2080ti from Evga. This is a non-binned chip, tu102-300-k3-a1. I just installed this into my loop with an EK Vector water block. My loop consists of 1x 280 double rad, 1x slim 360 rad, d5 pump, 250 ml res, and an evo supremacy water block for the CPU. CPU is an i9-9900k OC'd to 5.0 Ghz all cores at 1.295 VCore. OC Results: +1500 on memory +175 Mhz on Core Clock Final Results - 2,115 Mhz Core - 8000 Mhz on memory - this is a great OC from a non-binned chip in my opinion. Benchmark results. Fire Strike - 29,799 TimeSpy - 14,827 SuperPosition 4k optomized - 13,082 Temps are amazing - idle the 2080ti is around 24c and under full load, during heavy benchmarks, it stalls out at 36c Overall I am really impressed with the card and at this price point, it cannot be beaten. Now, if you were to only use this card with the stock fans that may be a different outcome as far as overclocking and what not.

  15. Was wondering how the members here were doing with their OC results on their RTX cards? I know there is a master thread but wanted to just get a thread going chatting about results and methods used and how stable you are so far. Post your benchmark scores as well if you want. I'm clawing my way up the Fire Strike leaderboard...currently at 34th place against PCs exactly spec'd as mine. I'll kick it off: Zotac XC Gaming RTX 2080 +125 Mhz +900 Mem 2,115 Mhz clock reached 7900 Memory clock reached Idle temps are 22c Load temps during firestick are 38c GPU and CPU are in a custom water loop with 2 rads. CPU is an i9-9900k (OC'd to 5.0 Ghz all cores)
  16. Completed my first custom loop couple weeks ago and just want to make sure my loop is OK. I had to mount the res on the opposite side of the case because i dint have a fan mount for the res and the lian li O11 dynamic has no mount holes. Temps at idle for cpu are 25-28C and GPU 24-27C. During Prime95 smallFFT CPU temps are between 75-80C and during long gaming sessions GPU reaches 50C which i think is kind of high. Can the inlet and outlet be on the same side for the GPU or is that causing flow issues? https://imgur.com/a/f8KudcD Specs: i9-9900k (oc'd to 5.0Ghz all cores 1.295 vcore RTX 2080 (+65 core +1000 memory)

  18. Hi All, I have the below reservoir and I don't like how it's currently mounted at the moment. The reservoir comes with brackets (C-Clamp style) for mounting but they require holes in the case already and the Lian Li O11 Dynamic has no such holes. Does anyone have any suggestions for a good 120mm fan mount for the below reservoir? https://www.ekwb.com/shop/ek-res-x3-150

  21. In my personal opinion there is no saying this card is faster than this card when you;re willing to do a manual OC. Some cards come with higher boost clocks which is why they may be referenced as an OC edition like in your second link. When it comes to a manual OC it all comes down to the silicone quality and how well you did in the silicone lottery. I don't think you would see much of anything going from the card you have to the new one. They both have max boost clocks of 1860 MHz.
  22. I just went with this kit - https://www.microcenter.com/product/486740/ek-kit-x240-240mm-water-cooling-kit- and added a GPU block and a second EK 360SE radiator in the loop. It works great cooling my i9-9900k and 2080. I'm Oc'd to 5.0 GHz all cores and idle temps are ~23 c and load temps are between 45-60c depending on what I'm doing. Im on a 50% fan curve and have my pump run at a constant 50%.
