  1. Since @Airdragonz and @Some Random Member both agree it is not a hardware issue. I went ahead and reformatted into a clean Windows 10 Pro install. So far so good about an hour in. Thank you very very much for the advice on this!
  2. @Roomerkind I feel as though an update does have something to do with it. I set up another few new computers now and it had the same issue. Some with an old card that was working perfectly fine in another build, some with new card. After the update finished after installing Windows, it was fine. Good luck with your new one though! I ended up returning my original one from this topic, regret it immensely. As I got it for the normal graphics card price rather than the new Mining normal price, it shot up $200...
  3. Hello, I hope everyone and their builds are doing better than mine today! This type if issue has never happened to me before. The Issue: Yesterday, I start to hear my Kraken fan get louder then get quiet, then get louder again, and quiet again. As I'm thinking, "What us going on?". I go to move the mouse, it moves an inch and immediately freezes. Entire computer freezes. I end up forcing it off with the power button and rebooting it. I go into CAM Software (https://www.nzxt.com/camapp) to check if anything looks odd. The CPU temperature was at 35c and randomly spikes to 55-65c then goes back down to 30-35c, and does this about every 5-10 seconds or less. What I did to try to fix: A friend of mine said that my CPU thermal paste could be hotspotting. So I cleaned off the thermal paste and reapplied it using the X method. Tried again and did not change anything. Build: The build is brand new. Processor: Intel Core i7 8700k CPU Cooler: NZXT Kraken X62 280mm Motherboard: MSI Z370M Gaming Pro AC Graphics Card: MSI Radeon RX580 Armor 8G RAM: 16GB (2 x 8GB) Corsair Vengeance LPX 3200 MHz Please let me know if there are any kind of test reports you'd like to see or if you have any other questions or suggestions! Any help is greatly appreciated!! Thank You!
  4. So I did the DDU and reinstalled drivers, didn't help unfortunately. I have now returned the card.
  5. Hello, Please help, I have exhausted my own knowledge and googling techniques on this. I have changed the PCI Express slot and the power cable from the PSU with no luck as well. I have attached my DxDiag to this post. What is occurring is when I run Furmark or play any game my screen starts to flicker around, you'll see what seems to be artifacts flicker across the entire screen (not just in the Furmark window). Overwatch just crashes after a but saying that the rendering device is lost. Other games either continue to flicker for a long time with random 1 color (brown or pale) full screen lag lasting about 1-3 seconds before going back into the game. If there is anything I can do or run for more diagnostics please let me know. This GPU is brand new out of the box into my computer. For about 1 day it was 100% fine. The next day this started happening. Could the card be DOA? Thank You, Vinlock DxDiag2.txt
