  1. ASUS VX248H Looks good for the price. But I no idea if the color reproduction is good or if you'd like it. If you could check it out in store, please do before buying or if you have a solid returns policy for change of mind, then you can consider it.
  2. good one, but color gamut is not that good on paper. You might like it depending on what sort of displays u r used too...
  3. Color gamut is every important for monitors. For example, if the monitor says its color gamut is 90% or more accurate to adobe RGB or sRGB, then its good. 100% though would be the best in terms of color reproduction, but cost quite a lot. Preference is what matters in here, some like the colors of LG monitors, some like Samsung, Philips and so... Best to go to the store, have a look and decide...
  4. Not if you put 2 sticks in the same channel. On a typical mobo, slots 1 and 2 from the left form the 1st channel, slots 3 and 4 form the second channel. That is why the manuals always say, use slots 2 and 4 first to get the dual channel set up.
  5. Well, yes to a certain extent. Try reducing your resolution a bit to see the difference. Same effect with 1080p (2k) against 4k (UHD). It comes down to preference. I have a triple monitor setup and although my 2 months old PC easily supports 4K gaming, I went with 1080p 24" monitors for now. Emphasis on the "for now" part :D. considering your internet speed, I wouldn't go with 4k, sorry!
  6. For that kind of usage, 1080p would be pretty good. Thing is, since you are upgrading from 720p, 108p with be really good for you. 4k, in my opinion, is still not worth it for 2 reasons. 1, 4k contents are not that widespread yet and 2, 1080p content looks terrible on a 4k display unless you turn the resolution down, which defeats its purpose altogether.
  7. Like the title says, which would perform better, say 2x8GB sticks on a single channel or 1x16GB? Lets leave upgradability and other stuff out of this and just talk about performance.
  8. Thanks guys, but upgradability is common sense here and hence i'll quote myself "in terms of performance and performance only". To narrow it down a bit, which would perform better, 2x8GB sticks on a single channel or 1x16GB?
  9. Hi, Out of curiosity, which is better in terms of performance and performance alone, 4x8GB or 2x16GB? Just incase, I am talking about a Z370 motherboard and Corsair Vengeance DDR4 3000Mhz SDRAM Thanks
  10. I've got a corsair hx750i, so it is all good as it is... I'll try switching to 2 cables to see if it makes a difference n decide.... thanks everyone
  11. Hi, Just finished my 1st PC build and everything works fine, but wondering if I have powered my graphics card the right way. The GPU has a 6pin and an 8pin PCIe ports and the PSU came with PCIe cables with dual 8pin (6+2) connectors. So I just used a single PCIe cable to connect to both the 6pin and the 8pin ports in the GPU. Is it better to use 2 separate PCIe cables for the 8pin and 6pin on the GPU? Thanks
  12. Gonna go with the Define C TG. Thank you all for the suggestions
  13. Thanks guys... The Define mini C TG is quite good, which is the smallest out all of your recommendations so far. I'll have a closer look and let you know.
  14. Hey folks, I am looking for the perfect case (or the next best thing :D) for my PC build. I am going for the msi z370M Gaming pro AC m-atx MB, so would prefer a mini tower, but not too many options out there. Considering the fact that I would be putting in a 1080 or 1080ti and liquid cooled i7-8700k, mid tower is probably the smallest I can go. I do like the Aerocool Strike-X Cube Mini-Tower and the CM h500p , but not quite sure on neither. To sum it all up, the requirements are, 1. mid tower or smaller, mini tower if possible 2. water cooling support for CPU (probably CM masterliquid pro 240) 3. MB supports 4x3.1USB, 1x3.1(type-c) and 4x2.0USB in the front alone. So would like as many I/0 in the front as possible. 4. No need more than 2 or 3 HDD bays 5. Not a fan of RBG, so no preference there Any recommendations would be appreciated. Thanks
