it's ok, try checking with Event Viewer (WinKey + R and type in "eventvwrr") and look for a critical error. But like @Sfekkesaid, don't worry about it :>

Did you get anything else like for example "SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED(atikmdag.sys)" or just the plain text? Either way i wouldn't really worry about it. Your Overclock might've caused it.

So, i've just ordered the Strix 1080, without taking my PSU into consideration. At the moment i'm using a Ryzen 5 1600X @4.13Ghz 1.45V Gskill Trident Z RGB @ 3000Mhz 1.38V 13-12-12-32 Asus Strix RX480 8g @ 1480Mhz My PSU is a NZXT Hale 82 V2 550W, rated at 80+ Bronze. I know it's not the best PSU there is, but so far it got the job done. You think it'll be able to handle the 1080 too?

Mikrotik RB2011UiAS-2HnD-IN It's all the router you'll ever need. Configuring this router requires WinBox which has a learning curve to it, but once you get the hang of it, it's a bliss.

Might sound stupid, but are you using the camera in Manual mode? ("M" on the mode dial)

Download something like RivaTuner and run a benchmark. If the GPU clock shows the one you set in GPU Tweak then the OC is successful. Either try to reinstall GPU Tweak, or just use some other program, like MSI Afterburner.

Upgrading to the 4690K would help, and overclocking it would yield even better results. As for the GPU, the R9 390X is about as good as a 1060, while being a room heater at the same time. You'll notice the performance bump.

While you COULD (while not recommended) just have another normal PSU plugged into the GTX 1080Ti and jump start it to make it run all the time, the best solution would be to obtain a beefier predator external power brick (if Acer even makes them) and just use that.

I know that the Acer Nitro 5, Acer Swift 3 and Dell Inspiron 15 (7570 i think) all have 8th gen i7 CPUs. Slap 8 more gigs of ram in them bad boys and you have yourself quite a good laptop -

I'd reccomend trying to go for an 8th gen CPU laptop. The performance bump from 7th gen will be worth it.
