Hi everyone, I am looking for neat looking, uncomplicated way to use both pc (for games) and mac mini (for work) on the same desk sharing the same monitor, keyboard, mouse, speakers, pen tablet, camera and microphone. Using one computer for everything could be an option, but that would not work for me as, in my case the PC is a very buggy and frustrating experience and I'd like to keep my workflow on Mac. At the same time, the Mac mini cannot run VR and the games I like. Maybe I am looking at the wrong hubs or KVMs but the ones I saw look like a giant cable mess. I was hoping that someone of you went through the same need and might offer some advice on a neat solution that can fit on a single desk. Thank you!

Does it makes sense to upgrade from a 1070 to a 1080Ti?

I know, right? 3060s and 6600xt prices are insane. -
Hi, A friend is selling his used and well preserved Evga gtx 1080ti for 500 Euro. Would it make sense to upgrade to a 1080ti from my 1070 or should I go with a new card in the same price range? Maybe I can snug a 450 Eur for the card but what is sure is that atm I cannot afford to spend 800+ euros on new cards. I know, it sounds silly to pay this much for a small upgrade but maybe it might not be a crazy idea given the current market. I own a 1440p ultrawide screen and the 1080 ti might be a better card for that as my 1070 struggles on new titles. Looking forward to read your opinions and suggestions, thanks!

Hi, you need to carefully unlock the plastic latches that hold the plastic front panel to the metal frame. In the picture below I marked where they are. You can carefully use a screwdriver but be super careful as old plastic is a bit stiffer and prone to breaking. Hope this can help.

Hi everyone, Just wanted to share with you what I found today. Digging through my pile of old hardware, I found one of my all time favorite graphic cards, the Ati Radeon 9800 Pro. This Particular model was made by Hercules and was branded as the 3D Prophet 9800 Pro. The original heatsink was painted in copper to match the video memory heatsinks still present on the card. I had to put a stock 9800 pro cooler on it since the original one became noisy and wasn't cooling the GPU efficiently anymore. Included in the box, a coupon to download Half Life 2 for free on a brand new digital store called Steam. I got the card in 2003 but the game came out in 2004 so I held up to that coupon for a whole year! I still remember all the fuss about it and how Steam was supposed to fail as most people still wanted boxed games. Oh, the irony. Hope you liked this little hop into nostalgia lane.

Hello, I am hunting for a 27inch 1440p display suitable for Digital Painting under 400$ So far my two candidates are the ASUS PA278QV and the BenQ PD2700Q. The BenQ is a 10 bit panel but it is a 4 years old monitor already while the Asus is brand new but has 8 bit color accuracy. Can you help me decide or suggest something better for the same price? Thank you!!

Hello, For some reason HW monitor show some really weird temperatures on my motherboard well beyond 100 degrees. This happens since the very first day I got this board, an Asus Z170I Pro Gaming in 2016. I have never worried too much because I am aware HW montor is not compatible with every temperature sensor out there but I thought that with time and updates this issue would be solved at some point. It is unlikely the temps are fake because I cannot spot any hot areas (tho I have never used an infrared or pointer thermometer) and at some point I got the board replaced for another issue and noticed the high temperatures are still there besides the board being cool and working fine so far. I am wondering if this issue is still common in the community or if maybe I would really worry about my MB working at 100+ degrees for years!

Hi, I was looking for info on the Anne pro 2 on this forum and found your question. I am owner of an anne pro 2 for a few months now and I gotta say the wireless functionality is not reliable for gaming. My pc sits 60cm away from my anne pro 2 and it often lags or do not register keystrokes quite frequently. I would not recommend to run it in wireless mode for any use, especially games. Wired, it is a goof value keyboard.

Photoshop is somehow an industry standard. Most animation/videgame concept art is done with it and Adobe is aware of that since in the years they added many tools targeted to digital artists. It is a known issue that Photoshop run slow but it is surprising how going from a 4th generation intel i5 to a Ryzen 2 2700x doesn't make much difference in the user experience. PS can be easily slow and unresponsive on both.
