Im running a i7-4790K which sits at around 87-90 underload. GPU: EVGA 970 which runs at 80-85 (Not too much of an issue). I havent tried flipping the fan on the NH-L9i, will certainly give it a blast and see what difference it makes. I guess the other opinion is to upgrade to a NH-L9x65 however am not sure if this would be better than the AIO idea.

Hi guys just wanted some feed back whether its worth giving this a go or is a waste of time. I have a Ncase M1 with the tempered glass side window and am looking at getting a new cooler as im using a noctua L9i which is running a little hotter than id like. I know most people recommend the Noctua u9s... however im not the biggest fan of tower coolers as they hide the sexiness of the motherboard. My current idea is to create a bracket to attach to the front panel to house a 120mm AIO so it give the case a clean look. I have mocked up a quick CAD to demonstrate the idea. I will flip the power supply to pull the hot air out of the case. So as i said im turning to the PC community to gain some feedback and reach out to those who have done similar projects. Thanks guys

Absolutely awesome build man! I know you've updated your system since, but would just like to know in this mod, how did you get the HDD cage to sit like that? Was it a mod?
