I switched from an iPhone 5s to an LG V10 a while back and while it took me some time to get used to the size of the phone, I never plan on going back to an iPhone. The apple tax is absurd, and the battery life/overall usability of the phone diminished with every iOS update. The only complaint I have with the V10 is that the battery life is horrible. That being said, I'm still waiting on an Android 7.0 update to come through, which supposedly helps with some of that. Fingerprint sensor is extremely quick and accurate, and the second screen is super convenient for notifications and quick access to contacts/recently used apps. I can only imagine the V20 is an even better experience.

I have a shield 2017 console with the updated controller and putting it side by side with an xbox one controller they are nearly identical in size, shape, and micro usb port location. That being said, I don't own a charging stand for my xbox controllers so I can't say with any certainty that it would fit and charge.

This will... http://www.ebay.com/itm/4GB-2x-2GB-PC2-6400-Corsair-XMS2-Memory-Kit-1-8v-5-5-5-18-800MHz-DDR2-240-Pin-/262811108261?hash=item3d30c343a5:g:yroAAOSwUKxYchso ends soon tho... you're gonna find a lot of ECC kits out there dirt cheap.. have to do some digging to find good deals on DDR2 but they are out there.

No. It's ECC RAM.

I finally convinced my wife to cut the cord and get rid of our $240 a month cable bill and make the switch to Sling via a Nvidia Shield TV. The only problem I'm having now is juggling remote controls in the living room. Our TiVo remote we had through the cable company was able to control the set top box, TV power/input, and surround sound volume. With two kids and a wife who loses things every few minutes, I'm sure you can appreciate why I can't deal with the 3 separate remotes. Can anyone suggest a good remote that would be able to fill the role of those 3? I'd prefer something with a full qwerty keyboard as well if possible. TV is an LG Surround is an older RCA Nvidia Shield TV (2017 model)

I would try re-seating the cooler and triple checking all of your connections before taping it off. Those are pretty high numbers for a newer chip on that cooler. My X3450 is a few generations old now and I'm getting MUCH better temps than that.

I do not. I have the radiator mounted directly to the top of the case with the fans pushing air through and out the top. If I put my hand next to the vent at the top of the case I can feel air flowing through.

Current Temps with EVERYTHING on silent operation. I have an H110i GTX mounted at the top and I can feel the air flowing out the top of the case, definitely not recycling it on my end.

I'm extremely happy with the case so far and can only think of two things I would change - 1 - a little more room behind the motherboard tray for cable management. I did my best to flatten everything down and there are plenty of anchor points, but closing the case left a few very small tears in the sound dampening material. 2 - better access to the basement. It was a VERY tight squeeze to plug in my modular PSU cables. Granted I could have unscrewed the PSU mounting bracket and slid it out to gain better access, so this is a minor issue.

Before you buy, I have this case with the stock fans and while the case may LOOK very restrictive.. it's actually pretty open (especially with some of the hard drive trays removed. I'd give it a shot with the FN-v2s before spending the extra money.

Possible to turn a Micro SIM into a Nano SIM?
jinscho replied to AlTech's topic in Phones and Tablets
My iPhone 5s has a micro SIM card that I trimmed down to nano-size following the template shown in that first video that was linked, been working fine for nearly two years. My wife's HTC One M8 is the same exact way. Just print the template and take your time with a good pair of scissors. Its nerve wracking the first time you do it, but it's actually very easy. -
I just bought a 4 GB EVGA 960 ftw off eBay for $135 and that was a steal. They're still bringing in enough to make up the cost difference in GPUs so that you could pick up a 480 or even a 1070 if you can find a good sale. The question at at that point however, turns into 'how long do you want to be without your rig?'

I just sleeved extensions for my 24 pin, 8 pin CPU, 4 pin molex, and 8 pin GPU using paracord. Pros - inexpensive (total project cost was less than the cost of just a 24 pin extension from cablemod), very happy with the final product, I can point to it and say "I did that!" Cons - VERY time consuming (took me about 3 hours to do my first 8 pin for the GPU), tedious work (pop pins out of connector, measure cable, measure paracord, remove paracord core, tape pin on male end of cable, slide cable through paracord, heat and compress ends of paracord, reinstall pins in connector, repeat over and over), tools to remove pins tend to break (I resorted to making my own by soldering staples together after the first two tools broke).

ADATA SP550 would be my choice... oh wait.. it is ?
