  1. Well i have never heard of that program, it is probably more reliable to manually update drivers. Go to the conexant website and stuff. Do t use auto driver updaters ( last time i used one couldnt use ethernet/wifi on my dads pc)
  2. Yeah, but try updating drivers, im not home now but it may be an outdated driver.
  3. I also had this problem with my laptop for like a week the solution when that happened: i left it alone for a week, came back turned it on and audio worked again.

  8. I recently bought an i7 860 and an asus sabertooth motherboard for cheap and i finally went to go take a look at the processor and the motherboard, when i uncoveed the processor i noticed a rubber substance on both parts. It appears that this rubber stuff seaped in and i dont know if i now have a toasted cpu and mobo! Help, how do i get it off? Is it broke? Is it okay?

  11. I got 4 parts for 40 dollars off of craigslist, an amd hd 7770, i7 860 w/ stock cooler,1x 8gb PNY XLR8 ram, and an asus sabertooth 55i mobo. did i waste my money or was it a good idea for me to travel 10 miles to get them? pictures below!
  12. I recently bought 4 computer parts for 40 dollars (i7 860 w/ stock cooler, asus sabertooth 55i, amd hd 7770, and a single 8 gb stick of pny xlr8 ram) and i was wondering if it is necasaary for me to get a second 8gb stick or if i could stick with a single stick. I understand it might be faster to use 2 sticks but honestly the benchmarks were really close and hardly noticeable. I only plan on doing some light gaming, (fortnite, 2d games) youtube and browsing. I am a 9th grader and this kid keeps talking down to me saying “well you need two sticks to have an actual pc and if you have 1 stick its slower” Also any other ideas for parts i should get, (storage psu and a case) Feedback please?
  13. I recently bought 4 computer parts for 40 dollars (i7 860 w/ stock cooler, asus sabertooth 55i, amd hd 7770, and a single 8 gb stick of pny x r8 ram) and i was wondering if it is necasaary for me to get a second 8gb stick or if i could stick with a single stick. I dont plan on doing anything special with it, (light 2d gaming, youtube, twitter). This annoying kid i go to school woth keeps talking down to me saying i will need 2 sticks, but i dont believe i would need 2 for light gaming.
