  1. I dont remember which video it was but if i find ill send it to you. According to the nzxt page it says it supports 120 and 140 mm fans, or at least thats what i understand. I guess ill get the 120 just to be sure. https://www.nzxt.com/products/h500-matte-white Thanks man
  2. Hello everyone, Please help! Im building a PC for architectural (CPU based) rendering and 3d modeling. And a litttle bit of gaming as well. My current budget is arround $1200.00 USD so there are a couple of thing that ill buy later on like a proper cooling for OC and storage. This is the list of the parts Im going to buy: AMD Ryzen 7 2700X. I was going to buy the the 2700, but according to one of the thousand videos Ive seen lately, the 2700x is apparently better "bang for the buck". Thoughts? COOLING. Im using the ryzen stock cooler for the moment until i can buy a liquid cooler later in the year. Im not overcloking until I have the new cooler MSI B450 GAMING PRO CARBON AC ATX AM4. I picked this Mobo because it can OC and i think is a good price, plus it has wifi and bluetoothe which are a must for me. CORSAIR VENGEANCE LPX 16 GB (2X8) DDR4-3000. Didnt really gave much thought to this, if there is anything better with the same price let me know please. SAMSUNG 970 EVO 500 GB M.2 2280 SSD and SEAGATE BARRACUDA 2TB 3.5" 7200 RPM HDD. My plan is to add a sata SSD later in the year or maybe next year ASUS GEFORCE GTX 1070 STRIX. This is a hard one because I basically need it just for gaming and $350.00 USD is the absolute max Im willing to spend in a Graphics card. Originally i was going to save money by buying a RX580 but I have a 2560 x 1080 monitor and im not sure the 580 can perform good enough. THOUGHTS PLEASE! NZXT H500 WHITE. No brainer, I love the design and I can get it not that expensive where I live (Im bringing the parts from the US cause where I live is too expensive to buy, but this case its only $30 more and i dont have to bring it on a plane) EVGA SUPERNOVA G3 550 W 80+GOLD MODULAR. Is it ok? 2 BE QUIET PURE WINGS 2 140 61.2 CFM 140 MM FAN. This seems good and should complement the 2 fans that are supposed to come with the case. Please I need all the help I can get since if I buy something wrong its going to be very hard to fix since like I said im bringing this from the us. Thank you so much. 3. Yeah after all the comments I got to the conclussion a 1070 would be a good option, or maybe a Vega 56 (I understand that its the AMD version of the 1070) I think ill go with the 1070 since aparently the vega is more expensive. But i dont know, im not totally convinced of my decisions lol
  4. Thank you so much for the feedback, Im a bit confused tho lol. Just some comments, Ill be using the pc mainly for modeling and rendering with the CPU (the renderer does not support GPU) So basically the GPU is for games I guess, and a little bit of photoshop ans illustrator (if that makes sense). I dont really care for ultra settings, high is good enough, at 1440 (i buying that monitor in a couple of months) Like I said my idea was to have a good enough GPU for good AAA games for a couple of years, and then upgrade it. In terms of budget its im allowed up to $500 US. but if I can save some money its better for me. BTW im buying everything in the US so thats the pricing im looking for. Also here is my build: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/pQWjtJ Ill aprecciate comments on it, I think its alright, the only actual doubts that I have is the ongoing conversation on the GPU and the fact that I dont have a CPU cooler (which I think its not that bad, but then again im a noob so maybe it is) Thank you
  5. So Im new to building (obviusly) but here is my question, should I get a RX 580 or a gtx 1080? FIRST CONTEXT, I’m building a workstation with an AMD 7 1700 for the 8 cores which will help me with the type of work I’ll be doing (3d modeling and rendering), but I also like gaming, not 4k ultra gaming, just high quality at 1440. NOW, I know that the gtx is probably better overall and its what I was going to buy, but what I’m thinking and I would like feedback, is that in the last year GPUs haven’t had a huge upgrade in terms of power, so probably in the next year or two we will get a big upgrade and way better graphic cards. So I think maybe at this time I can get an RX580 for its low cost and good enough performance, so I’ll be saving a few bucks (I’m kind of in a budget), and I can get a new GPU in a couple of years when they come stronger (assuming that what I’m saying is true that they will actually upgrade). I’ll be so thankful for comments on this matter. Also, sorry for the bad English, it’s not my first tongue, and I have been researching for like a month, so there is a great chance that what I’m saying is all wrong. Thank you
