  1. I have been a viewer for a long time and never let a video get by me. Tho I have not seen any on the subject of Kids and computers. Not gaming. but monitoring and safely using computers. Knowing Linus has kids as well I would thing I would have seen a video on such topic. If there is PLEASE link it to me. I have a daughter just now getting interested in computer and gaming. I however want to keep her safe and teach her correct ways to use the tech. I don't want to hold her back on exploring and being creative. But, there are those sickos out there and others with ill intentions. I have looked into different ways to set up a pc for her but its all to much. Microsoft want you setup a entire family for the most part with email addresses and the works. frankly its over the top and I am not seeing the "safe" things in using it. I have a hard time going to a paid software due to most of them look to be full of advertising and more than likely share usage state and sell what ever info they can gather about you and your kids. I would love to see a video with maybe Anthony and Linus laying it all out A to Z on how to be safe with computers, tablets, phones, etc. Its Christmas tons of kids around the world are getting new tech it would be a good move for some positive viewership and gain some more subs! Awaiting for the next video! ME
  2. Hello noob here and learning tons everyday. I am in processes of building a machine for my business and have hit a block of too much info. Here is the build so far. I know some parts may seem not best choice but budget took over. ASUS 970 Pro Gaming Aura AMD FX8320 8-core 3.5GHz overclocked to a stable 4.4GHz Nvidia GeForce GT730 4x 4GB PNY DDR3 PC3-12800 RAM Antec 550watt PSU CPU cooled by a 3x120mm radiator All inside a Corsair Obsidian 800D full case OS by itself on a 500GB WD HDD Software running on a 5TB Seagate HDD Scratch disk is a 500GB WD HDD I have a dedicated computer for storing my content and bring files over as needed for short term use. I plan on maxing out the ram with another 16GB I'm sure there is a better option that what I am having now on that. Also wanting to go-to SSD's as I can for it's speed. Kinda leaves the GPU... Do I go crossfire/sli? Or go big as I can with a single GPU? Way to many questions. No gaming. I use tons of ADOBE and tons of Autodesk. Video/photo editing, mild 3D rendering, and some GIS type work. My optimum hopes are higher than my budget and I know I am asking a lot but ideas are helpful tons. Somewhere $200 to $300 range I even been looking at used GPU's not sure how I feel about that tho. Thanks for input!
