  1. So I'm interested in the 8700k but it's more pricey than the 1800x newegg blackfriday deal. Is it worth the extra money? I'm only looking for maybe 80+ fps on a 1440p 144hz monitor for games like GTA 5 or any other graphic intensive game. But I would be more interested in quick rendering and an all around smoother video editing experience. Thoughts?
  2. What specifically? I've read many posts on how Ryzen is really picky with RAM and from what I've read atleast, it seems like flare X works the best. But if you have any links for memory tested with the Asus Crosshair VI MOBO that would be really helpful
  3. No, A few things are going on sale on newegg's black friday sale, others are items that I am buying off of ebay. Don't pay too much attention to price folks, I'm just looking for insight on how well this build will work
  4. I'm all good on buying the GPU, I'm just kindof wondering how well my whole build would work for the uses I listed above
  5. Craiglist, I don't need a new gpu. As long as the last owner was competent and took care of his hardware I have no issues with buying a used GPU
  6. Hi everyone! This is my first post here on LTT. I'm looking for some insight and guidance on my new build. This is the last build that I did, https://pcpartpicker.com/user/slightlybiased/saved/X27vK8 I ended up selling it to afford going to school. I'm looking to do a new build and I need a machine for video editing. I will be editing at 4K down to 1080p. I have a basic build list that I'm wondering will work. Is this my most cost effective option? I'm looking for something that is great for video editing mostly on Premiere. I'm also looking for a machine that game handle gaming at 1440p at 144hz. If you all don't mind, take a look at my new build and let me know what you think. https://pcpartpicker.com/user/slightlybiased/saved/qG2WXL One more thing, I'd rather not OC my CPU. I know that seems like a waste of money to many of you, but I've just had bad experiences in the past with finding a good stable OC. I might in the future if I get bored, but for now, I'm just looking for some good performance. Here's another excel list with all of the best prices for the parts I found. I might opt for a 1080 ti also! Thank you so much for the help! AMD_BUILD_2017.xlsx
