  1. Hello everyone! I got a 1080Ti from a friend who upgraded to a 3080Ti. I am trying to build a white/black-themed build and have put together the following part list. I have changed the price to reflect the local prices I will be paying (I live in Taiwan). I hope to play games like Cyberpunk 2077 at medium-high setting with a decent (consistently 100+) FPS, and some less intensive games like Apex Legends and CSGO at 200+ FPS at 1080p. Any advice at all would be much appreciated! Anywhere I can take a few dollars off? Any significant bottlenecks? Thanks everyone! 2. Hello everyone! I am trying to build a white-themed RTX 3060 build and have put together the following part list. I have changed the price to reflect the local prices I will be paying (I live in Taiwan). I hope to play games like Cyberpunk 2077 at medium setting with a decent (consistently 60+) FPS, and some less intensive games like Apex Legends and CSGO at 144+ FPS. Any advice at all would be much appreciated! What is bottlenecking right now? Anywhere I can take a few dollars off? Thanks everyone! https://pcpartpicker.com/list/RjvRXb
  3. Hey guys, So its been about 2 months since I have built my new pc and I have ran into a problem. Here is the part list: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/4jfwTH The wifi speed has always been a little unstable, so I thought maybe its just the school's wifi. However, today it has hit an all time low of 30kB/s, and it is usually 50-60 kB/s. I ran the speed test on another laptop of mine and got around 70-80kB/s. This is really odd. I do have the drivers installed and updated. I am extremely worried if I got a defective motherboard (Maximus X hero WIFI-AC), and that is causing the problem. Is there any way to check this? Thanks so much guys.
  4. Hard to say when prices r gonna go back down. Id say 900 is pretty good considering the current situation with cryptocurrency mining
  5. Nah, theres a site that alerts you when they come back in stock. If you buy them fast enough, you can get them for a decent price. Got mine for 900.
  6. Hey guys, So i just recently built my new pc. Here is the part list: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/4jfwTH I have 3 software to help monitor my system. Corsair Link, NZXT Cam, and Ai Suite III. However, sometimes when i boot my computer, my cpu is not detected. It usually will, but sometimes it does. I will attach a screenshot. Please help! Thank you
  7. Also, both Corsair Link and Asus Ai Suite III are saying that my CPU fans(MB fans) are running at 3400 rpm. This is kinda odd cause I didn't connect any fan to the CPU_FAN header on the motherboard. Temperatures seem to be normal. CPU temps are usually below 40.
  8. Hey guys Just finished my PC build not too long ago. Here is the part list: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/T6NY6X However, I am finding something really odd. The fan speed continuously fluctuates, almost like it is pulsing. I have a few hypotheses for why this might be happening. 1. I did not connect the CPU fan's rpm control cable to the CPU_FAN header on the motherboard. Instead I connected it to Corsair Commander Pro, and control it through the Link software instead. 2. I am running multiple fan control software. I have Corsair Link, NZXT Cam, and Asus Ai Suite III. I mainly only use Corsair Link, but could the different software be "fighting" for the fan control? 3. I have not adjusted the fan curves at all. 4. Fan rpm could be dependent on CPU temperature, which is constantly fluctuating. I am unsure which fans are constantly fluctuating. Maybe its only the radiator fans. But I am pretty sure all of them are constantly changing. Any help is appreciated. Thanks very much guys <3
  9. Will the price of 1080 ti drop anytime soon? They still come on stock once in a while, they just get picked up in literally seconds.
  10. ya but these are crazily priced at the moment. A Titan Xp is cheaper that this right now
  11. Do they perform better than the 1080 ti's though?
  12. Why isn't a great idea? Are there any drawbacks using the Titan Xp vs 1080 ti?
  13. Hey guys, Been trying to get my hands on the Asus Strix 1080 ti for quite a while, but it just seems to always be out of stock. I was wondering are there any substitutes? I am willing to go for something pricier. Perhaps something from the Titan series? I will mainly be gaming on this desktop, and would like to do SLI and water-cooling in the future. Thank you <3
  14. Hey everyone, I am building my very first PC soon and have gotten all my parts except for my GPU, the asus strix 1080 ti OC. Ive checked everywhere but all the reasonably priced sites seem to be out of stock. I was wondering if any of yall know where I can get one? Thank you very much guys
