  1. Some friends told me to open a paypal dispute any advice on if that's a smart decision?
  2. so after several hours of charging, I turn the phone on and it has less than 5% battery. Any ideas on why that happened?
  3. The phone has stopped responding, it does not turn on anymore. The notification light blinks red. Any other advice? I took a lot of photos before the phone died, I also have every email the seller ever sent to me.
  4. PLEASE, I bought a LG G2 F320S off eBay and as soon as I got it I knew something was up, first of all, the onscreen buttons were nowhere to be found and when I went into settings to enable them the front touch buttons was nowhere to be found. As I use the phone more and more I'm starting to think the damn thing is fake. The things that are suspicious 1. The phone came rooted (the store on eBay supposedly sells "phones used as display phones in retail stores" those sure as hell won't be rooted. 2. It has the Lamhaong ROM flashed on to it even though I was assured the phone was being shipped in original retail condition 3.THERE'S NO DAMN DISPLAY BUTTONS, or an option in settings (for those of you who don't know, the LG G2 doesn't have any capacitive touch buttons, only system buttons, a quick google search of the G2 will show you that.) 4.There's no way to add the display buttons, when I open an app I have to restart the phone just to exit the app because I have no home, or back buttons. 5.There are several themes already loaded on to it 3 in fact, "LG" "zlhlmios" and "Blue" and these actually change the look of the apps etc. 6.the phone is kind of laggy for a phone on the first day 7.It didn't come with any Korean Telecom bloatware Now, I didn't come here just to warn you guys about buying from eBay. I actually came to get help. I'm going to confront the seller but I need concrete evidence before I proceed. I was hoping someone could prescribe me an app that can actually go deep and give me a list of the hardware in the phone, I'm assuming if it's a knockoff it won't actually have a snapdragon 800 cpu or an Adreno 330 graphics chip in it, so that would really help my case. And any other ideas on how to prove it's fake so I can compile together a case to make to eBay's legal team. (such as things to check in the software etc, or how to remove a ROM and return to the original if that's possible) Thanks boys and girls PS: If you have any questions that might help you better help me PLEASE ASK!
  5. I also heard about the strictness of Australian airports... Do you think theyd stop me if I had a mobo, CPU, RAM, PSU etc in my cargo luggage? Is it illegal or something to take those?
  6. Hi Fellow LTT members, I need your help! I recently got accepted into a medical school in Australia (I live in Canada) and I have to live in Australia for 10 months of the year. The problem is that I built a gaming computer in February of 2014 and it weighs 40 pounds and is in a big af Fractal define R4 with a window. I can't afford to ship it to Australia and then ship it back when I come back to Canada next November. So my question is.. What can I do to take it to Australia? I have a few ideas that I was hoping to get some feedback on, 1) Take my computer apart and put everything into my luggage except for my case, then when I get to Australia buy a POS case and stuff it all in there 2)Build an ITX computer that is small and doesn't weigh much, and can use the components I already have in my big gaming PC. (Check my Bio for details on components) Any other cheap ideas PLEASE TELL ME I'M SUPER SCURRED D:
  7. Oh okie, I like my 670. But everyone's entitled to an opinion
  8. Can I connect my HTC one to the amplifier that you recommended?
  9. Thanks for the reply!!!, as for your statement that my amp has lower power output, I am buying a better power adapter that will deliver 6amps instead of 2amps would this help with the power issue?
  10. Hi I'm planning on buying a Lepai T2020a+ amplifier, I want to get a pair of Bookshelf speakers but I don't have enough experience in this topic so I'm not sure what to buy. The speakers NEED to be under 100 dollars and should have a decent bass output but not at the sacrifice of Mids and highs. If what I'm asking for is unrealistic please feel free to suggest a pair of speakers that are good but not necessarily meant for Rap or bass heavy music. If you know any speakers that are good for under 100 let me know. I already know about the Dayton B652 and Pioneer BS22's. Are there any others available? Im willing to buy used. Thanks for reading, if any more info is required let me know!
  11. Best workstation card* Hi there LTT community I got a question, what's the best workstation card for a student studying graphic arts and design. My friend is currently in university and is using programs like zBrush, maya, and photoshop. he's looking for a card that will stop the lag he's experiencing in zbrush. He doesn't have a lot of money so a card under 200 dollars will do. It doesn't have to be the newest generation, it just needs to have the power to handle decently what he's throwing at it.The card can't be power hungry because he doesn't want to pay for another PSU. Hes got an amd athlon x3, 6 gb of ddr2 ram and 430w PSU.
  12. Ever since I started university and moved into a dorm I have been really homesick, I don't have many friends here and I miss my friends and family back home. But watching LTT videos on youtube make me happy, they remind of when I built my first computer. Whenever I watch your videos I start to think I'm back home in my own room with my family, you guys are literally helping me get through university. LinusTechTips is an amazing channel and I just want to say thanks for everything you've done for me.
