  1. Thanks, I found this option hidden 3 menus deep under Advanced -> System Agent (SA) -> Graphics Configuration These companies really need to hire usability experts, because every BIOS except Dell's is just terrible. Now Quicksync works in OBS!
  2. I have an ITX B760-I with an i5-12400 non F with RTX 4060 and the onboard graphics just don't work. There is no option to enable it in the BIOS. Is it disabled when using a PCIE graphics card? I can't find any documentation that says this. I could have sworn it did as of a couple weeks ago and I didn't update the BIOS or anything, until today to try to fix this. One reason I went with Intel for this build is the Quicksync encoder, both for OBS and to speed up Adobe Premiere scrubbing. Any ideas?
  3. One thing is that mounted to the case means that the radiator helps cool all the other components. It's not just your CPU that needs cooling but also the entire motherboard to some extent. The more you have isolated, the less airflow there is.
  4. I think it would be more efficient to chill the CPU. Are peltiers still available?
  5. He's right, most car ACs are driven by the engine because they take so much power. But some hybrid cars have an electric AC compressor. I had a C-Max like this and it was great because it was one of the first hybrids with that feature. Others had to run the engine just for AC. They take a lot of power to run though so you'd need a giant power supply!
  6. I think the car AC parts probably take up more space than you're thinking. Another option would be to modify a mini fridge. I'm sure the heat exchanger is much smaller. Although it may not be able to handle the amount of heat a PC creates. Maybe look into the small AC units that are used for RVs or food carrier box trucks?
  7. Yes all these things can limit you but IMO with all in ones, the limiting factor is usually the low speed fans that almost all manufacturers use
  8. Fan speed is what really determines cooling capacity. You can try faster fans
  9. The orientation should only matter if the block does a better job cooling on one side. With AMD most of the heat comes from the south side of the CPU. If it's cooling fine, leave it
  10. The 3070 Ti has a 256 bit memory bus. This is another example of the 40 series being a downgrade from 30, but making up for it partially with higher clocks
  11. Yes you will gain cooling power because radiators are restrictive, so doubling up on fans will increase airflow
  12. I'm no I'm not stuck on the name. I'm looking at performance and the 4080 is 33% more powerful but 100% higher price
  13. If you're going to compare performance and price then you have to look at current prices, not prices from 3 years ago. A brand new 3080 is $629. Less than half the price of the 4080
  14. The 3090 performs better for some things than the 4080 because it has TWICE the VRAM and TWICE the memory bandwidth.
