  1. Any updates on this? Back in late November it was reported that Tony Norman was stepping down as CEO of IFI and a replacement would be announced by the end of the year, but that's not happened yet. In addition, there have been allegations of even worse behavior in the past few days. IFI's approach to the controversy seems to be to not say anything and think that will make it go away, so I'm not surprised that they aren't responding to your inquiries.
  2. I'd be fine using a surface mount one but I can't seem to find any that are just the power part.
  3. (still awaiting the circular connectors to test RGB headers) Does anyone know an easy way to get right angle through hole SATA power connectors for the PCB? I can't seem to find any on digikey or similar sites.
  4. I ordered some circular 4 pin connectors and will be testing them soon, I'll update everyone when they get here.
  5. The spacing of 0.1 seems to be correct but my square headers don't fit, might they be circular?
  6. I am looking for the size of the actual header that goes onto the motherboard, I would like to be able to use the same on my own PCBs.
  7. I've recently been working on a custom RGB controller based on an Arduino Pro Micro that will appear as a Corsair CommanderPro, but in the PCB design stage I have hit a little bit of a snag. I can not seem to find the spec of standard RGB and ARGB headers on a motherboard, I have found a standard 4 pin fan connector, but can not seem to find any documentation on RGB headers.
  8. The weird thing is that the specific model I mentioned no longer even has out of stock pages at retailers like newegg, amazon, and microcenter.
  9. On launch day of the 2070 Super I was able to find plenty of models from various manufacturers, and now almost nobody has any available. PCPartPicker only has the following 5 models available: Searching individual sites has given me nothing more than a few more out of stock pages. The specific card I was looking at was the ROG-STRIX-RTX2070S-O8G-GAMING, and nobody even has an out of stock page for it anymore. When I contacted Asus's own customer support, they first told me to look at their resellers, and after I told them that every single reseller had nothing about the card, they promptly closed the support ticket. WHY IS IT SO HARD TO SPEND MY MONEY ON THEIR PRODUCT? I know I could go with one of the models that are available, but none of them will work with my RGB ecosystem, and I don't want to spend $500-$600 for something that isn't what I want. If any of you have an idea what is happening or how to find these, PLEASE TELL ME.
  10. For the past year or so I've had an intermittent "A disk read error has occurred, Press Ctrl+Alt+Del to restart" error on boot, and usually pressing ctrl+alt+del reboots into windows (or it takes 3-4 times to boot into windows). The error occurs about 30% of the time I boot the computer it comes up with the error, and about 10% of the time the error comes up it requires multiple reboots to get into windows. Full specs can be found here. I have replaced the SSD and CPU since the error first started happening, and I have run memtest to rule out the memory being an issue. I currently suspect that it is either the PSU or Mobo. Has anyone had this issue before, or have an idea as to what is the cause?
