JungleOreo reacted to CrippledROBOT in Degradation
Just took a look! It looks quite pretty! Again, in my experience computers (especially laptops) get about 5 years before some sort of failure or battery issue. With that machine, I do not believe that the battery is (easily or user) removable. Therefore, once that battery dies, you'll have to keep it plugged in constantly.
The only way to really "break" that 5 year life span is to get a desktop with top of the line specs (and a good PSU especially), treat it right with voltages and temperatures and hope for the best.
EDIT: the best way to break 5 years is to get NEW server components. Those things are designed around a 24/7 operational life under high load.

Well, my laptop - Acer Swift 1 - looks like it has quality build. Take a look, it is the newer model with alluminum body and small 13.3 inches display. Cool notebook, maybe considerable as ultrabook.

Nah, was looking with task manager and it doesnt run full load all the time, even when dealing with some programs and stuff.

Yes, I tried it in my local shop and it does really well with multitasking and playing 4k videos.
