    I'm thinking about making a mini solar powered lawn mover and have decided to buy a DC motor (12v or 24v) Will a high speed motor suffice? Or should i go for a high torque motor?

    This is just a little project to demonstrate the cooling effect using a peltier module.So i thought i could use just a 12 v battery to power the module.

    @Princess Cadence .I'm starting to have second thoughts about volta.It is said that volta is for workstation use and the next gen ampere might be for gaming(People are on a fence whether it will be for gaming or enterprise purpose) which might be introduced in mid 2018.Now i'm again torn between an upgradable GPU and Decent monitor.*Sigh*

    @Princess Cadence Flow analysis (CFD),Mesh analysis and Simulation falls under extremely specific workloads and it can benefit more from Volta.

    I'll probably start building a rig in 2018.People have recommended me to go with GTX 1070.I'm on a quite tight budget and I don't have a monitor.So should i get a 1440p monitor now and an ok GPU now because Volta seems promising so i could sell gtx whatever i'll buy and grab a volta card?

    I've never been a huge fan of Microsoft.But the looks of surface book is good. That's it .Nothing good other than overpriced hardware.

    @iancng Let me tell you something that my teacher told you.In IT Companies,the backbone is IT workers (insert No shit Sherlock meme here) and without them company cannot function.But you don't see much companies shutting down because of abundance of IT professionals.That is why when there is a Lay off in the company,IT people are sent out first.Because it is easy to hire an IT pro. But like @BlueChinchillaEatingDorito said,people with MBA's are the ones who pull the trigger. But in any engineering company, persons with a Diploma are the backbone.Hence there are less jobs for people with Engineering degree and more jobs and demand for people with diploma although the pay is low.

    If you're willing to pay an extra 100 USD for pressure and flow rate readings then sure. But I think that temperature and both the speed values are more than enough.

    I have a 5 year old SONY LCD 32 inch TV.Approximately 6 months ago ,while playing a PS2 game(Prince of persia: The Two Thrones) rainbow color started appearing(Not like strips.In the entire screen ) and also I could see the ghosting with lag.The rainbow color was dim but not that hard to notice.Does anyone know what the problem might be?

    I've done some research and found that the menu appears when you have only one RAM stick attached.So try taking out a stick and going into the bios.

    The option is under Cell Menu in the bios

    Leave no stone unturned in the BIOS.There must be an option to enable it.Otherwise bios update will be the only way.
