  1. What kind of specs are you running? I recommend checking to see if you have all the required runtimes and DirectX version installed. I also recommend updating your graphics drivers if you have not yet. I have GTAV as well with the download being from Rockstar Social online and have had no issues with installation and running the game.
  2. I would say yes because of the need for portability and small footprint as I may move into a smaller dwelling for school.
  3. He raises a good point when it comes to overclocking however if you do not plan on doing any insane overclocks aside from that the board itself will work with it with no issues. The higher end boards that he mentions do have alot of features however I do not recommend getting them unless your really need those features as it would be a waste of money.
  4. You sure that it is not the PSU? the motherboard website and page states that it supports 8th Gen Intel CPUs (Coffee Lake)
  5. In that case, the SSD is fine as I am used to having a 120GB one as a boot drive. Motherboard-wise I run a Gigabyte B360M DS3H and it has not given me any issue so I doubt a higher-end board by them would have any issues
  6. What are your thoughts on my part list? The goal of my machine is to be both VR capable and be able to enjoy a high-end gaming experience while still being in a Mini ITX format. Here is the part list: CPU: i7-8700k CPU Cooler: CM Masterliquid Lite 120 GPU: RTX 2080 Motherboard: Gigabyte B360N RAM: 2X Aegis 8GB HDD: WD Blue 1TB PSU: Corsair SF 600W Case Phanteks Evolv SHift VR Headset: Oculus RIft + Touch PC Parts Picker List: https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/gCR4ZR
  7. The setup looks great although the SSD seems excessive. In addition you could save some money by using a Gigabyte Z370P https://fr.pcpartpicker.com/product/V9WfrH/gigabyte-z370p-d3-atx-lga1151-motherboard-z370p-d3
  8. They are still a thing in Windows 10, it is under the personalization tab under the lock screen settings.
  9. When it comes to aircraft all of my love and appreciation goes to the Grob G103 Twin II. I have the privilege of being able to fly one of these among other aircraft whenever I desire to. Each flight with one of these is nothing short of amazing especially when the weather plays nice.
  10. If you are looking for DDR3 memory, I recommend going to a parts reseller/ recycling center as they sometimes sell/give away used parts especially memory.
  11. Does that also apply to CPU Microcode updates? The latest bios available apparently would update my CPU's microcode.
  12. Hello Everyone, I recently finished putting together my gaming rig and have been running it smoothly with no issues for the past two or so weeks. Is it worth it to update the Bios of my motherboard? I am currently a Gigabyte B360M DS3H paired with an Intel Core i3-8100 with the bios being the release version (F1).
  13. It may very well be your PSU but more info is needed. Are you overclocking your CPU/GPU at all? In addition, are you gaming in an environment that is around 20-30 Degrees Celsius?
  14. Hi, I currently have 4GB of DDR4 SDRAM installed on my machine and have been looking to upgrade the amount of memory it has, is it possible to mix DDR4 SDRAM with DDR4 DRAM on an Intel Cofee Lake Platform? My Machine Specs: CPU: Intel Core i3-8100 GPU:Gigabyte GTX 1060 Mini 3GB MB: Gigabyte B360M DS3H PSU: CM MasterWatt Lite 500 Case: Rosewill SRM-01 Ram: G.Skill Aegis 4GB SDRAM
  15. Yeah, the reason is mainly build quality as both the Void Pro and HS50 seem to be really well made. When it comes to budget I do not really have a set limit but I am trying to save money if it's possible since extra money is always good.
