    Java help

    I managed to make some progress so this is not my problem anymore. I tried using preparedstatement that is working "good" but now its giving me this "The column position '1' is out of range. The number of columns for this ResultSet is '0'." try { con = DriverManager.getConnection(url, user, password); st = con.createStatement(); rs = st.executeQuery("SELECT * FROM ASIAKASREKISTERI"); if (rs.next()){ asiakasrekisteri = rs.getInt("ASIAKKAANNUMERO"); NIMI = rs.getString("nimi"); Laskutusosoite = rs.getString("laskutusosoite"); Postinumero = rs.getString("postinumero"); Puh = rs.getString("puh"); String update = "INSERT INTO ADMIN1.ASIAKASREKISTERI (NIMI, LASKUTUSOSOITE, POSTINUMERO, PUH) " + "VALUES ('" + NIMI + "'" + ", " + "'" + Laskutusosoite + "'" + ", " + "'" + Postinumero + "'" + ", " + "'" + Puh + "'" + ")"; PreparedStatement prepared = con.prepareStatement(update); prepared.setString (1, NIMI); prepared.setString (2, Laskutusosoite); prepared.setString (3, Postinumero); prepared.setString (4, Puh); prepared.executeUpdate(update); } updateTable(); } catch (SQLException ex) { // close stuff Didnt change anything else from the code thats not shown here

    Laptop running hot after os change

    I might consider that. But the point is whats with windows server that makes the laptop run higher temps? Since with windows 10 in the same spot it was running alot cooler. I have been using this laptop for 2 years as a server. So why is it so bad? Yes laptops are not intended for server use but im only running a voip server on it.

    Laptop running hot after os change

    Yes im using the laptop as a server. Yes its kinda dead and cant use it. So im using it just as a voip server. In screenshot its not on that high load even but laptop is still on fire.
  15. Pc sounds like plane turbine and runs 80-90 celsius. Never happened on windows 10 until changed to windows server 2008.
