  1. I personally love AMD. I'm not sure if we can take your word for this seeing as your picture is of a Ryzen chip...
  2. I really wanted Intel to keep going with the Pentium 4 so I could talk about how my CPU reached 10GHz. (if you're wondering, it's what people predicted if they weren't pushed by AMD.)
  3. You can pair faster and slower sticks together, but the speed will be set to the slowest stick.
  4. I swear to Jeebus if they make it the Sony Switch I'm flipping my desk.
  5. DX12 is still relatively new, why even bother making 12.5? If it's for things like bug fixes then do as DX10 did and make 12.1
  6. Hah, no. the 1060 6gb should've been called the 1060 Ti, more powerful GPU and more VRAM
  7. That depends on the rest of your system.
  8. I feel as if Intel was holding this guy hostage as he typed this...

    GTX 650

You didn't tell us that you were trying to SLI them.

    PURE PC

mhm, yep. that doesn't look over-engineered at all.

    GTX 650

That depends on how much the system before the GPU is installed will draw.

    GTX 650

Eh, I have a Dell PSU that doesn't have any Molex, just 4-pin CPU, 24-pin, and a bunch of SATA.

    GTX 650

It wouldn't turn on. Also if you have a Molex connector, I'd recommend going with Molex to PCIe instead of SATA to PCIe
  14. Depending on specs, I'd download anything from Windows 98 all the way to 7 on it, because as far as I know, the eMachine brand lasted for quite some time.
  15. Still look around for pre-builts, but also start maybe looking up PC building guides just in case.
  16. I mean... as a PC person I'd always recommend building yourself. (it's really easy.) But if you're absolutely stuck on a pre-built, I'd recommend either a Ryzen 3 or Ryzen 5 build, or a Core i5 8600, because Let's just forget that the 8400 exists.
  17. If my A10-5800K and R7 260x build can run on a 400w PSU, then yours definitely can.
  18. It's AM3, which is a dead socket, but there are still many upgrades. I would upgrade to either an old Phenom 2 hex-core or an FX 6300 if your motherboard supports it. As for the GPU, anything between a GT 1030 and maybe a GTX 1060 3gb would suffice. Just get an entirely new PSU, that thing won't be doing much. Go with at least a 80+ Bronze 400w PSU. This is all under the assumption that it isn't an SFF machine, if it is, well, God help you.
  19. Lets say you get an SLI bridge that's about 2 feet long, now lets say you have two PC's of identical specs, what would happen, if you connected the two GPU's with the SLI bridge, would it bluescreen? Would nothing happen? Would it miraculously work somehow? Would there be physical damage?
  20. It can, but I only have older DVI/VGA monitors and don't have any money for a Displayport or HDMI monitor.
  21. For Ryzen, I would up the RAM speed a lot. Ryzen relies on RAM speeds, with the minimum being considered 3000MHz
